hey guys and gals

just found the site, think i saw it in one of the ford mags i read. havent a clue how i havent stumbled upon this site, since ive been on all the other forums for a fair few years now.

I live in rockingham, wa. Currently i own a 1989 Fairmont Ghia. She's a factory 5 speed manual, the six banger has a 2.5" exhaust, extractors, K&N Filter, and a 2.77 LSD in the rear. The previous owner hinted at a possible aftermarket cam being up top, but couldnt give any details to what it might be. She's previously been resprayed in argon silver with a gold pearl thru it. Future plans include adding a sprint front lip, and replacing the broken rear sprint lip. Boosting her is a distant plan, as having a family limits funds at the best of times, but im considering hiding a small blower under the intake, where the aircon pump currently sits.

hope to see you all around

Very interesting! :D

Are you certain it's a 2.77 with the factory T5? You might find it's actually a 2.92, which differs from the 2.77s as you can interchange gears up to 4.11 in them (but having a factory EA T5 with some crazy 1st gear like 3.5:1, you wouldn't want to go much past say a 3.23 diff)

Chuck up some pics when you get the chance mate.

Cheers
