Just dropped by to get some valuable insight.
Got a new rad and water pump coming as the damn thing keeps overheating.
Next step is a dirt cheap turbo set from scrap yard parts.
Anyone done one ?
Pics and costs involved ?
Cheers
G

Dirt cheap turbo setup = bad idea!
People have done them and usual regret it. The ones that don't regret it probably should.
I would consider a dirt cheap turbo setup to cost between $1000 and $2000.
I would link to some pics but I don't want to offend anyone and then have to defend my reasons. :P

Hey G,

Cheap normally ends in pain! Either physical or financial.

Best 'cheap; set up is a complete second hand unit of a known car. There are many I6 Turbos on here making awesome power without spending a fortune.

Good luck :D
