Boosted Falcon

This is my car its a 6 cylinder ghia that is turbo charged i have taken a different approach to the norm with water to air intercooling works fantastic and is a real sleeper (no intercooler showing at all). Hope you like it.

yeah will take some of bay tonight it was dynoed two months ago before changinf to water to air and larger inejctors and fmu were fitted it made 198 rwkws its a lot stronger now will get it dynoed again soon. Still running standard ecu. It has been converted to manual. Not keen to lower any more as it already hits the inner gaurd on half lock on the front were the abs is.(it actually wore through one of the brake lines that go to the abs unit).

man this car is nice definately a sleeper hehe have u taken it down the 1/4 mile yet?

Maybe you should gettign a j3 chip you may be able to get some more power out of it

What size rubber are you running? & rim offset?
It really shouldnt be hitting anything as its not that low, let alone on half lock!

Looks nice and simple. Would never pick it for a sleeper!

guys they are 19*7 rims ( pre au offset no spacers) with 235 35 rubber it even rubbed when i had el gt rims on it there is a bulge in the plastic weather sheild in the gaurd that covers the abs it rubs on that i have had the wheel alignment checked just in case caster was way out but still no good.

brockyb8 have you had any experience with the j3 chip ive been looking at them recently

These are just ones i remember of top opf my head. V8 capri is the tuner of these products.

Ive seen all the tunning that has been done on these. Kinda wish these were around when i was doing mods ,

Nice sleeper you got there. How are you finding the water to air? I am still undecided whether to go that or cooler.

yeh mate first attempt was no good because the pump i used was not flowing enough to keep water temp down but i got one from ford lightning truck it flows 11 litres per minute very quite and bosch. now outlet air temp is compariable to air to air and around town doesnt creep up like air to air did. Also i was having issues with engine temp not getting enough air through radiator around town now no problems.

Yeah but you can usually spot a little hint or two that gives it away that non-car people wouldn't spot.

not sure at this piont am talking to v8 capri about getting custom j3 chip tune soon so will soon know.

i'm keen on one of these aswell..

I like it because it keeps the whole turbo package sits under bonnet (cops used to look twice at intercooler) That worried me. Mine needs a bigger radiator(for intercooler), on a hot day it struggles to keep water temp down but otherwise very happy.
