Suggestion:

The "find new posts" button, should be available to click on no matter where you are in the forums, rather than just in the index. Either that or i'm a [DUMKNT] who hasn't spotted it elsewhere yet... (like in this thread)

Those with flange avatars please refrain from the types that Gunns as they aren't ethnic parent or boss friendly. If my boss walks past with that on the screen I'll be in shit.

Good thinking Sundose. I think if this forum wants to retain/build some type of respect we need to be a bit mature about what we post and use as avatars etc. Just need to find a happy-median.

I don't think +1 is appropriate, but I do agree with you 100%.

That happy-median should be the meaning of this site. I can't stand AFF because of the nazi-ness, this place should go down well if we can up-keep the same posting standard but be able to discuss all issues more freely and have a good time.

Thought of something before, some forums have some kind of auto resizing for pics inside img tags.

So when some kent posts a massive 6854x8593 pic it automatically sized so it fits in my window without scrolling.

Dunno if its hard to do but I put it out there.

John, I saw a pic posted by Gilly that was too large for the forum. It wasnt scaled down it just got chopped to fit, same diff.

i recon tech section needs its own section on the forum home page, for tutorials, boosted, general moter tech questions, i6, v8 etc....

other wise just have on massive jar with everything in it...

The only suggestion is to have 'Yesterday' and 'Today' quoted for when the posts were posted up instead of the date...

Hmm... i'll have to look into that.
Not sure on how that'd work.
The forum software isnt pretty new so there arnt many modifications around for it yet.
But the list is growing!

Like the "For Sale"

So you can put a new thread for each item and discuss each item in their individual thread.

Instead of just one long thread like the one on AFF as who could be bothered looking in that long thing.
