I've seen on a few other forums they introduce a new button, Kinda like the quote button

Its called 'fork' and it like will quote what was said, and start a new topic with it... Thats just a general outline of the idea

Just thought I'd throw it out there, see if the admins could look into it or something

If things go off topic, they are usually bought back to topic. But as Dave said, there is off topic but then there is crap quality off topic. Guess thats just the way forums happen to work sometimes?
