I've been doing 1.9's with cheap chinese 17" tyres. I let them down to 18psi, and do a good skid in the dry

I got a 2.0 60' in my ED, with 235/45/17 GSD3 tyres @ ~36psi. 3.08 diff gears, minispool, 3-4 second burnout in 2nd rolling from the wet to dry, sidestep off clutch from 4000rpm at Heathcote. This was on the way to a 17.1 second quarter at full noise too (98rwkw).

Surely yours has better than a 1.9 in it!

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Best of 1.9 here with my old EF with Wanli's, with good tyres and a clutch that'll grip I reckon you could bring it down to 1.8 with heaps of revs, I dunno about a 1.7 though...that's a pretty damn quick launch for a NA6

I wouldnt call it a slick, it was a 205/65/r15 semi slick that looked like a road tyre (tred and all) and it still wheel spun when running 18psi off the line, it just wasnt a good enough tyre, as you can see, members here are runnign same on street tyres.

I know have a 275 micky thompson, and it looks beefy, hoping if i dont blow anything, to get a 1.8 at least.

I used to do 1.8's most of the time and if I remember correctly I did a 1.7, I had 3:4:5 LSD, EL T5 with 16" wheels low pressure. I'm sure the bigger the burnout the better the 60Ft. If i can find the slips ill scan them but they are probably 4 yrs old now.

2.19 in an AU auto.
2500 stall, big cam that doesnt make peak torque till 3500, so bad combo.
Slicks on 20psi and 3.9 gears. Just bogs down and doesnt go anywhere.
Also after the report from the auto shop today, the Au doesnt seem to like the slicks. Tailshaft, yoke, extension housing bush and seal all dead.
