TAUPO TRACK DAY (photos)

Postby Bob Lablaw » September 27th, 2009, 5:25 pm

First track day with club and didn't know what to expect. Cool cars all over the place got a few photos for some car drooling and a couple of my car.
Was quite surprised at pace of my car and handling was better than expected. waiting for times to come through but am expecting to be in top half of feild (they split road cars and race cars). Its a great feeling pulling away from the older v8's or passing them through corners. I'm still on high from day out
Here's the photo's enjoy

sorry bout the Rx 7 but it still had a 355 chev in it

that yellow xd is hot.

did you say that rx7 had a 355? that would be a animal in such a light car.

I would say this guy owned the franchise or something had money to burn, think he lost 2nd at end of day hate to see what that would cost... the green XE I'm told has 80,000 dollar speedway engine or somethin', and the orange xy was faster/better than that! and there's me and my $5000 fairmont....
