Maybe you just shouldn't drift?

Probably shouldn't, it's never been regarded as cheap or vehicle friendly but it's just sooooo much fun!

Also I can have the 32mm front sway bar made for falcon still, even though we all thought it was extinct when Whiteline stopped 'making' it.
I think I'm going to do some testing with Malakai's EA, I have a feeling I might be able to get up to about 7deg positive castor. Heaps of castor is not for everybody as it makes the steering heavier but for those who can appreciate the benefits, positive castor is King.

the hardest thing i find is throttle steering my car is on the verge of having enough power to do it but only just and my mistake is too much or to little throttle and over correcting lol

Over correcting equals munji = fun. Throttle control comes with practice than over correcting will fall into place with it when you get enough practice in and become good enough, and then people will go that was sic. And then bipolar mate with the rx7 will call you the crazy munji man as well lol.

High speed sweepers a falcon with a bit of power will seem more stable and a light wight car will be better in twisty stuff due to being able to change direction quicker

Tell them they are wrong and gay. I profer the way my aus spec 31 handles comparied to my mates s13 due to the facted the s13 making a bit of power is just to twitchy for my liking were as the 31 like tha falcon has abit longer wheel base removes the twitchyness and the beam axle making out of courner speed easy to get.

Having said that the more wight you can get out of them the better

Tim can you get the rear bars?

I've got the 32mm front already but stocko at the rear and the car feels bizzarre, is really stable on asphalt at the front but get it onto wet/slippery or gravel roads and it slides almost too easy - I honestly think with the bigger front bar (and lack of big rear bar) I can go FASTER sideways, but it's a lot HARDER to drive sideways (because you have to catch it that much faster, it feels like it wants to spin really fast etc.

SNR, a 28mm rear sway bar would be sweet on your car if you've got the 32mm front already. I can get them, can't remember the price that I can do them for you guys as they are not a stocked item (custom made).
Hopefully I can find out some time next week.

I've got the 28mm rear whiteline bar, it has changed the handling quite a lot. The rear has heaps of initial grip, but when it lets go it's fuckin quick.

see my sig... i plan to get this on the tack early '10 while n/a (have to move house thenn fix timing case n sump leaks n shagged diff[cheers frost]). if u really wanna hang ur arse out get out there n give it a go! figure out what u have trouble with and address issues one at a time. mine goes fairly good as it is, my only concern for the track is gear ratio while n/a thinkin 3.45:1 or 3.7:1 might be the go how ever the taller the ratio = more wheel speed = more smoke = points. once boost is fitted i think i'll be ok.

how does it go in that movie??? "learn by doing it" haha.... seriously get on the track, its the only way

also dunno if its been posted in here yet or not buck by adding rear spacers to your wheels to make the track as wide as possible helps to keep the car more stable..

well thats what james mackie did on his drift slut an thats what he said when i asked why he was using spacers on e series offset wheels lol

Fail. Can't do much with E-series. Maybe fit rack end spacers but I haven't bought a set to see if it's possible.

I reckon you could do some cool stuff with AU suspension but of course you have to fit it first :/

I recon it would be interesting to find out if extra lock spacers would be possible for the e series racks. but it would take a heap of mucking around to see if anything would hit, internal gear mesh in rack, and that sort of stuff

But would be cool if some one made something like the kit in getting for the 31 for falcons

Tein stronger tie rods, tein extra lock spacers and tein tie rod ends with different angle on then to allow for better angle for lowered cars

The tie rods aren't longer there's a machined spacer that dose on where the rod end screws onto the rack itself that fits inside the opening in the rack that allows the rack to travel further which while makes the tie rod push out more giving toe in a wheel aliment will fix it

I hope that make sense if not tell me which bit doesn't and Ill try and explain it better

i'm no expert and new to the falcon driving experience but i used to drive and attempt to drift a ke71 corolla with a 5k and it went really well with a locked diff and cut king lows in it ask bushman i used to have no drama throwing it around due to it's light weight and ease of control plus a working hand brake, i'm yet to try slide a falcon so i cant really judge but i have seen bushman throw his el around with great ease i have even been in the car with him many a time while sideways and he is a very good driver when driving sideways but as it has been said light and small is good for tight corners and bigger heavier is better for more all round as i have been shown but it is really pick your poision and personall preference in my books anyway. Another_ef you are on the right track there. my expiration is in an s13 and an r31 while the s13 was better for tight corner and changed direction quicker it felt twitchy on sweepers where as the r31 felt a lot more stable in the sweepers but didn't change direction as quick and you had to force it to more on tight corners
