Depending on the date, I'll tag along as a spectator and do photos... My POS wouldn't survive the 1/4 mile :P

Heathcote would be better in my opinion from a photo point of veiw, but I'm not really bothered.

If its not a private day/night, then Calder can eat a fat one. I hate racing there, the atmosphere is too intense. If we could hire Calder out just for us I’d go, but if not then only Heathcote for me. They are much more lax up there, I feel much more comfortable racing there. Despite I will be lucky to crack a 15! :P

heathcote might be open again for a private day now calder is back.
if we can get the numbers.
if you ran it with a few sites you'd have to do alright you'd think?
here, FM, maybe XFalcon?

costs like 5k to hire out caulder for the day. So forget that. Im a maybe. If headsex pulls his finger out and has my car finally tuned.

Maybe, but you'd need about 80-100 on the list to ensure atleast 50 showed.

prepay, no refunds.
don't even book it till you've got the cash to cover heathcotes costs so they are happy.

I think that would be the only way Steady, but kents here are cheap. I personally would be happy to pay double normal entry fee for Heathcote to ensure its a private day, but I doubt many othere people here would too.

That or we need to get people to pre-pay, i'd be down for calder, but probably not heathcote unless I towed the car there.

OK guys, I just spoke to Ian from calder, he said it'd probably too expensive if we want to hire out the track, but we'd get a good deal if we went up as a club on a day that they already have the drags organised, (for example if we went on the saturday that just passed). For $80 we get entry for the person racing and one passenger, we'd get our own area and upto 20 garages for us to work on our cars and we'd also get a area above the garages for a BBQ and that type of thing.

I don't think we'd get the numbers to organise our own private day, and costs would also be fairly high. Ian was saying there would be no problem getting about 7-8 runs in.

Let me know what you guys think and we'll try get a date set.

Oh and we'd also get cheaper spectator entry, but that may have to be pre paid.
