Why all the differences in RPM where you shift gears Icer? Shouldn't it be where the powerband finishes? I can understand reving out 3rd because you **** 4th gear bands.
on the dyno power peaks at 5750. hence change 2nd. 1st is all wheel spin so just go by feel ~5k rpm. Parfrey. i want to go drags more but just osurced MT ET streets, and have lost my licence for a motnh till next tues. So next few weeks ill be going again but to heathcote.

wouldn't it have been a better investment to build a forged bottom end rather than fit another factory engine?

cost me 5500 for 18,000km 07 f6 long motor delivered to mechanic, fitted, serviced and tunned. Atomic bottom end along is 5500 exclusing any of that.
End of year ill swap my bottom end with an atomic bottom end and it will be all good. Hopefully motor can cope for a couple months eh. Should be sweet.
