Hey, Im mat im new here.. just got a question to ask.
I got an 89 EA S pack wagon with a 5 speed manual and want to put it in a EB II fairmont sedan.
would i be able to use everything i got from the two cars? and also the driveshaft, thats the biggest problem at the moment.
Would I be able to use the yoke on the wagon drive shaft and put it on the EB?
Cheers guys.

I think you'll find that the wagon has a longer wheelbase, however there is only 10mm difference between the auto and manual sedan tailshafts (the yoke is the same). I personally wouldn't recommend running too much power through it or testing the speed limiter, but you can get away with re-using your auto tailshaft with the T5.

I used an auto tailshaft with my t5z behind my EA motor which had 1000nm/tractive effort on a dyno (211rwkw @ 3500rpm) and never had an issue.
Auto ones are fine.

tailshaft will be fine just use the same tailshaft for the car.
just be aware, you'll either need an ecu or atleast resistor trick the ecu, as the ea will be different, ea's have separate trans comp to engine, and eb2 will most likely have smart lock
