First time I seen this car around.. Tried to find the owner but no luck. Took some snaps and a vid. Only ran twice, first run had some major missfire, second run came out ran a 10.06 (sorry forget the mph) and then went home! Looks like it has alot of potential.

That intercooler setup looks familiar - I think I've seen it on an EF/L before..?

Starting with an EA is the way to go :)

plenum looks similar to the one Rod (the Dentist) used to run back in the day when it was supercharged: the green one
I mean....

^^^^^^
edit: also looks like the other supercharged EL he's got/owned...

Doesn't just look similar, the pipework looks identical, look at the bends and compare where they are welded from the two pics.

That's the one I was thinking of - either it's the same guy with another car or he sold the setup to this guy. Either way, tough :)

Farr that's what my EA looked like back in 1991. Wish it still looked like that. Oh yea, 10's are cool too.

Chances are a lot of it has been swapped over throughout various setups.
obviously on the supercharged car, the throttles are pre S/C, when turbo, its pre manifold.

looks the goods, and it'd be cool to see that on the street, backing tires past other police cars, and everyone wondering WTF was that :D

Does anybody have a power figure for it?

The Engine is from Rod's Grey Falcon and was a test of the fastest possible time on LPG with cast pistons and standard rods.

A built engine is currenlty being installed. The 10.06 and 25psi was hurting the standard parts, it was comfortable at 20PSI and 10.49.

Turbo - T04Z,
Gearbox - built C4,
Diff - standard with spool,
LPG - vapour injection.

I wonder what the cost of the lpg conversion is???

Would like to compare as E85 is coming to more servo's and that's a good fuel as well
