Isn't it fucking retarded how the price has now been bumped up, yet we still need to organise out own insurance! Fucking retarded as a bus full of window lickers!

Explain more about the CTP extension - my brother tried to organise a skidpan day recently at gympie and we couldn't get insurance so it had to be cancelled.

CTP is part of you rego. A CTP extension is something that your insurance provider will do.
You have to go and see them, and its a piece of paper. 'Most' providers do this for free.
I sort out all the other insurance..!
Like I said, I've been doing this for more than 5 year.

How many cars is this for?
Has the price gone up or are you making a fat profit off this?
Just asking, don't take it the wrong way.

I pay for insurance, food, drinks and prizes..
I do 'pay' myself for my work, but I can assure you, its not a fat profit. I run most of my days on a 14 car platform. Sometimes 12.

Oh **** here we go again...
You know I've been to heaps of these days at Gympie all within the last five to seven years and it's been $80 ish with no CTP motorsport extension bullshit and BYO food and use of the BBQ on site.
I'm not complaining about the price because I know it has to be worth your while to do it but this CTP shit just makes it all too much effort to bother if you ask me.
When did this change happen and why, if you know?

It changed because of a few reasons..
The biggest reason is because roadcraft's insurance no longer covers track days. There for, I must provide insurance.
I can assure you, it is not cheap.
The CTP extension is a phone call to your provider, and most email it to you, hardly a lot of effort.
By all means, ring them and ask..
