Do you think the clutch will hold if you try for 2nd? If I were you I would get the tyres as hot as possable in 1st before trying for 2nd, cook the tyres for a while then snap 2nd, stay relaxed while going for the gear change, if you try to rush it too much you will most likely end up in neutral and/or grinding gears making you look like an idiot.

I think you wont manage to blow it up, just because you want to blow it u, good old Murphy's law. Good luck, looking forward to the video.

keep in mind most burnout comps only go for 2 minutes, they normally flag ya off if ya keep going over

its going to be hard to blow a standard ish engine in 2 minutes, i recken nos/massive cam will help kill it

and definetly delete the rev limiter and buzz it to like 9

run it on race fuel and wind some serious timing into it

if you want to blow it up , why bother with putting extra oil in it and more water .
drain it all out , and rev the shit out of it , and then watch your T5 destroy 2nd gear

3.08's in 2nd are going to give you more tire speed then 4.11's in 2nd. If you can get 2nd with 3.08's

Just get some diesel in a bottle with a small hole in the lid, one for each side of the car then hang them above the rear tyres... :D

If you want to pop it then do a nice long skid to get everything hot, then when it's on the limiter hit the NOS and it will lean out like a bastard and you'll do a couple of pistons, then the rods will punch holes in the block and shit will be epic.

i think mini spool, low profile skiny 14s, WET NOS kit with biggest shot possible, gutted cat, manual(as long as the clutch is good) you will get second if you sit on first and get the tyres hot, should find some one with a wade cam just laying around and stick that in, something in the mid range- high and flat change it with the nos pumping full ball
i think you will get chronic 2nd gear spin and at least some engine damage, on the first run,, also run it on race fuel with some more ignition timing will get it singing like a bird,

No one has mentioned this, but I have tried it and it worked, for me, silicon spray.
My first car was a cpi 3sp auto ea, complete shit tin and it literally would not do a skid from a stand still, without rocking the absolute shit out of the car, so one night I gave the tires a decent spray with silicon spray, at maccas in browns plains and it spun both wheels instantly without hesitation and no brakes, only works on the first go though. My solution, oln hard tires lots of silicon spray, rev it to within 1 though of the valves smacking the pistons and dump clutch in 2nd. I fucken garintee it'll skid.. Dont do it on the street though shit gets hectik when it rains lol
