RBKILA EB FALCON INTO THE 8'S

Postby RBKILA » April 17th, 2013, 7:43 pm : ed_xr6 Likes this post

Hi, pretty new to this site, just thought id post up some videos of my EB falcon.

its running only 523 rwkws on 19psi ......Atomic performance engine, powerglide, gtx4508r turbo, 2000hp plazmaman water to air, 100mm throttle body, twin 50mm gates, side exit exhausts, 2200cc injectors, magna fuel 2500hp efi pump, ems 8860 and race dash.......
8.97 @ 152 MPH

all this with eb block, eb head and mini spooled BW diff (axles do two passes and changed before they snap)

the cutout heard in most of 2nd gear is the boost cut, twin gates just cant control low boost on the track, on the dyno they are fine

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HDiHkyYKyc

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r67gDYkUwFw

custom billet rockers are not far off, revs are limited to 6300 and boost too as the rockers just crumble
8.166 @ 163.99 MPH on only 29psi boost (another 9 psi still up my sleeve) on the cars 5th pass

MOST POWERFULL SOHC 4LT ENGINE.

1042 hp ( 777 kws ) @ 39 psi and aiming for 7s with 1109kg.
can it be done? who knows but it will be fun trying

sure am mate, ive had the car 14 yrs now, my first too.

ended up making 440rwkws with the std bottom end but the btr just couldnt handle the nm @ 380rwkws, slipped along with the jmm converter.
it did its job well for the punishment i gave it, 5 years with a std bottom end and it still didnt fail, just timing chain went.
200000ks on it though

thanks guys, yes i never thought the bw would hold so good for so long. only mod to it is a bar bolted to the rear arm mounts and attaches to two bolts on the diff hat, very simple but must be helping the housing not twist.

once its tuned again, i will start a thread of the chassis build

Great to see you have joined up. The Car is definitely a great build I've been following it on AFF for agers.

Keep those pictures coming, Its always get to see and hear about the updates good and bad.

Its amazing that the BW is holding on so well, lol @ changing the axles after two passes. Times are fantastic for what is essentially a basic suspension set up. The weight shaving must help a huge amount hence the VL's can run such good times.

Keen to see how it goes with a new tune.

Can't believe you're not even maxing everything out!

Love to see a super-slow mo' of this taking off through a fine mist so you can see the air being sucked into the impeller.

thanks for all the great feed back :)
pretty much everything is over kill on this car eg 2000hp cooler, 2200cc injectors, gtx4508r, 2500hp pump etc etc but ive built this car soooooo many times, this is the last so i went all out and dont wont any issues with something being too small when we are going for 1000rwhp.
i do all the fab work / building it myself here at home in the shed, real poverty pac racing lol but its the only way i can afford to do it.
did the whole new set up over about 3 months after work and some weekends.

next time i run it, i will fit the go pro on the head light facing the turbo, as per one of my youtube dyno videos.
dont worry about seeing air being sucked in, i have to look out for small children and low flighing birds!
