Guys just tyring to figure out what brake package i'm going to buy.. either the racebrakes or the cebco kit. Does anyone on here ACTUALLY DRIVE THEIR CAR HARD ON THE TRACK with these kits or similar? If so, how do they go, issues with warping the rotors??? I know the saloon cars run the cebco kit but the racebrakes kit is alot cheaper (although it has 1 peice disc/hub unlike the cebco which is slip on disc and seperate hub).

Cheers.

Arm79 spoke to Cebco about this, they said the saloon cars running the cebco kit used to warp alot of rotors when they used the EL GT disc.
When they moved to the 2 piece hub + disc setup using the Mustang discs the problem was supposedly solved.
Thats what some bloke at Cebco reckons anyway.
Pretty sure the Mustang discs are a fair bit cheaper then the EL GTs too, off the top of my head though, we priced it up a while ago.
Actually, fire Arm79 a PM about this on FM Carl, I don't know if he checks here often.
He'll probably remember specifics better then I do :P

I think so yes, it's an adaptor not a spacer though.

Thanks J.. Will do.
Frittz just bought the slip on disc setup from Cebco and told me the same thing. He was going to buy the cheaper set with the EL GT disc but they told him about what you said and so he bought the slip on disc setup. And yeah, they do keep the same offset mate.

I was really getting at has anyone used these upgrades on the track, how do they perform etc after hard usage and if there was any warping issues. But i guess nobody takes there e-seires on the track seriously enough to purchase a setup like this ????
