gotta be very very quiet... its wabbit hunting season.. cant believe how quiet that car is!!!






maybe it doesnt have a turbo, and its the stereo making that noise. its just a stock ea. :P

That's the way I wanted it this time, I let the gate do the talking these days. :D

Tim did say that the revs were kept low because of the 3.27 diff gears, 3.45 or 3.7 diff gears would have meant higher revs and it would have been a bit better for the skid pan and a bit louder too.

3.7 are too short, imho .45s would be ftw on that pan. Probably also on the track too.

marks got 4.11s in that fairlane, its sooo short in first, you could probably run faster then if (if i quit smoking.... and drinki.... nah **** i couldnt)

yeah those springs are grouse for sliding, i think they work really well. i took the ol basher for a spin to the round a bout and went round and round its quite noticable how much better they ride while your sideways :drinks2: cheers mate

Yep I rode in Tim's car the other night and it just feels better sideways than it did before. Not sure if that is the difference made by the new motor, turbo, plenum or whatnot but I think it is partly the new springs and shocks. It's just so much smoother sideways. I think it should be great for drifting.
