Parts needed
Tail lights go for around $60 a pair at Pickapart
Boot Garnish goes for around $30 at Pickapart
Dont forget to get the Reverse globe holders for the garnish!
Lets get to it Wink
Get about 2cm's of the Eb/ed's wiring From the taillight connector back. Wire this into your EA's Tailight wiring loom and match the wire colours.
When you go to fit the EB/ED taillights, you will find that they need a extra bracket to hold them in, simply manufacture one from Steel or metal as you can see here.
Next to fit the EB/ED Boot garnish you will need to cut holes out for the Reverse lights out. In my personal experience, its better to use a EB bootlid as you dont get any leakage from water when it rains or you wash your car. Some 30th anniversary model EA's came with EB bootlids like mine.
Run a single wire from the Reverse light wire on your EA tailight connector up to the bootlid where your EB bootgarnish is. Connect the 2 Reverse globe holders by connecting the RED wire to the single wire you ran up to the boot on both holders. The black wires need to be grounded on the boot lid.
Thats it! you should have a EB/ED looking rear depending on what garnish you used.
