Make sure you know what you are doing, are confident and competent before commencing any activity. You do so at your own risk!

If you own a EB or ED, this is a matter of simply changing the plug on your orange repeaters and placing the clear repeaters in.

For us EA owners its alittle more work....

Parts needed
AU3 Clear Side Repeaters - cost around $40 in total from Ford
EF/EL/AU Side Repeater Sockets - I "borrowed" some.. cost like $2 at a wreckers
Some extra wire, and a EB/ED Guard moulding for a template

Get the EB/ED Guard Molding and trace out the hole on your current guard molding thats attached to the guard. cut out the hole, run some firgure8 style wire from the indicator at the front of the guard connect this to the wiring loom that the indicator is connected in. connect up your Sockets to the wire in the hole, insert a orange Globe that would have come with the Repeaters. and insert the repeaters into the hole. Done!

to put the au indicators in the correct way you need to use a hack saw blade and cut off part of the clip on the au repeaters.
and if putting into the eb-ed then you will notice the plug for the globe has 4 notches. simply cut off 2 of the notches with a stanly knife blade and it will fit straight in.

full info with pics is on ford mods. took me a whole 10 minutes including unwrapping the repeaters finding a blade and getting in the mood to do it.

Takes bugger all time to do. I reckon the BA ones would be better, blend them into the mould..

John, as per the guide in my thread, you can just modify the existing globe holder, saves a bit of stuffing around.
