Hahahaha epic amature action, was all limiter bashing in 2nd then i missed 3rd hard  , there is some more floating around but i haven't been bothered to get them off anyone yet.

Anyways new tyres arrived but the clutch is slipping, shit happens eh?. Doesn't matter its going back to 101 next week to get shimmed up, cold start tune sorted out properly and it'll go back on the dyno and cop some more boost.

Right its time to run a 10 in this bitchhhh.

The clutch is all sorted now and better than ever no extra boost though since the shop was reluctant to throw it straight on the dyno without letting the clutch bed in (didn't consider that, my bad), 285/35 595rpms are on the ass and the car is better traction wise still breaks free and tramps like crazy wayyyy to easy. So over the next few weeks i'll be be getting the ass end on this thing sorted ready to hook up at the strip.

First things first i've ordered a set of solid rear subframe bushes from titan and they will get fitted along with whatever other bushes need to be upgraded. Rear guards will get pumped and rolled properly so they don't scrub the tyres when it squats and if need be softer springs will be fitted to the coils in the rear but i don't think it'll be nessesary.

I'm confident i can get a high 10 with this but if not, more boost!

It's a supra, you'll never get a 10.

140mph possibly, but never a 10 :P

Sooooo i might have been a little ambitious, managed to blow the ass out of the diff center during a particularly large skid on Friday night. My bad.

Will get that sorted and continue where i left off

Do you mean you blew the mechanical centre, or the whole housing and centre? If it's both, it was axle tramp. Supra's are notorious for it with flogged out housing bushes or worn shocks (I heard a friends one explode out front of my house at 4am one night). More RPM/higher wheel speeds make it better ;-)

Here's an example of how bad my friends supra was before the diff exploded.

There doesn't appear to be any damage to the housing plus theres no diff oil on the floor of the shed or where it went pop so i'm fairly confident its just the center. I'd say tramp was the major factor but i started her in 2nd so it was tramping pretty hard till about 7000rpm and was holding a steady 8000rpm without tramp for a bit till i went to hit 3rd and thats where she let go.

I'd probably say mine was tramping a bit worse than that one, no matter i'll get a better center in it, have the solid bushes fitted and tramp wont be an issue anymore.

Right so after sitting in the shed for a few months i've finally decided to get this shit sorted, it's now in capable hands at BI6TIM's shop having a kaaz fitted with the solid subframe bushes plus whatever else needs to be done to get the ass end sorted.

This thing should be skidding like a champion again in no time.

Solid alloy rear cradle bushes fitted. Couple of other bushes to show up tomorrow and the cradle can go back in the car.

So i've had this thing back since satuday and first things first big props to BI6TIM for getting this thing sorted for a brother he's done a mint job with it, hooks up substantially better than before and makes man spec noises and shit when doing low speed turns. That being said it still leaves two 305mm wide black lines at over half throttle through 2nd and 3rd.

Need to get about 1000k's on the diff and change the oil, get the guards pumped to clear those big feet and possibly a retune before i run this thing at the drags again and try for a 10. I'd actually forgotten how stupidly quick this thing is
