You can rebuild a bush bearing turbo yourself for around 200 if you can find a bearing and seal kit to suit.
rebuild kit will be 60-120 and a balance of the wheels and shaft already out of the turbo is 50-70.

I did my ct26 for 130, but you might find it hard to get a kit for an eBay generic

Yeah just hopefully it'll last will find out.

And just saw your other post huggie. It's going on the falcon now. Vl is getting bits sold of it and those bits are funding the falcon

ahh cool.. i seen the first half of the thread was deleted and then there is a pic of a VL turbo with plenum.. and i thought oh ok so this thread is about the VL but with his falcon thrown in...

what manifold are you looking to run? i have the snort stage 1 log manifold with T3/T4 flanges... its a nice small neat manifold. keeps the turbo low away from the accelerator cable which helps.. only thing is with one of those manifold its changing the engine mount and bracket to an EL unit otherwise some bigger turbos dont fit.. (hope i got that right... its either the turbo or oil return)

Yeah was taking it of the net cause it was boring and I wasn't doing anything to it lol. But now it's getting built and being new to boosted falcon's might be needing some advice.

I'm getting a 6boost manifold shortly :)

if it fails and it can't get a decent rebuild it'll get replaced with a genuine garrett.

lol do you have $1300 to waste on a 900hp turbo?

you dont need a turbo that big unless you are axeman, hiboost or own a 2jz :p

Yeah I thought they were 850hp rated.

And just using what I already had. But not skimping on the manifold. So when they other shit breaks I know the manifold will still be all sweet to just throw something new on.

Oh and I told Kyle it's just cheap shit.
