the eb is a eb s xr8 so it doesnt have the propper xr8 twin lights i was thinking of buying the twin light frames from the twin lights web site and fitting them over top of the standard lights but im not sure what it would look like or maybe get some stickers made to go on the headlights with the holes cut in for the lights

going by that theory he might as well put big stripes on it a spoiler and remove the interior

seeing as its just for drags i guess it doesn't matter if it looks like my last curry shit.

well i have a new 250hp 250xflow in bits ready to be built i figured if i spent the money on doing that for the same cost i could buy a already performance ready made car like the xr8 id get just as much power to work with so thats how i becomw to buy the eb xr8 i figure i shouldnt have to spend too much unless i break somthing on the xr8

They're only 165kw.. Not exactly made for performance..
Buy an AU XR8 motor, put a cam in it and drop it in for a fraction of the price it's going to cost to get the motor in the eb to do anything decent. Then fit your carby if thats the way you want to go and a nos kit and go racing

You may as well cut 2 cylinders off and have the novilty of driving a v6 falcon if you think it's going to go fast without at least 10 grand thrown at it.
Better off buying a cammed 6 for the same power gain and price the manifold will cost you alone.

thats why this forum is so good, people who know can give good advice like the older injected 8's are average from the factory and need some bits to make them go fast, alot of holden people are one eyed but ya gotta have a hobby even if its being a dick.

you would actually be quiet suprised,

carbie has many advantages for a drag/burnout car (non rego) alot cheaper to tune carbie over injection, alot cheaper on parts to

decent manifold and carbie around $1000 mark, it will make more power then if you put say a trick flow and 75 mm t/b on an efi windsor for the same money then ya gotta get a maf, and generally bigger injectors.

alot of guys do it with holden 5.0s in skid cars.
