...for a V8? Can't imagine they'll be stacked up at the wreckers...

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Had a few dramas on the dyno Friday,
Boost just come on then power went down at 5000rpm as fast as it came up.

Everything was where it should be, timing, fuel, boost etc.

Did cross my mind but took catylic converter off yesterday then my mechanic tried to do a bit of tuning on the street with no luck,
gets to 5000 and then feels like i slam my left foot on the brake.

we pulled the cooler off and held it up to the sun and i cant even see thru the core.

Bypassed the cooler with a straight pipe and it cracks onto boost hard then goes straight to 14psi boost cut.

never had this issue before as the cooler must have been giving it a 7-8psi pressure drop and we could only assume it was running a 10psi spring.

Think its a combination of oil/sudge from the previous blown turbo seal thats blocked it up and the fact it really must be one of the cheaper china units and seems as tho the guts of it is starting to break down and rattle like a old mufler.

This rolled up today,
Gonna run a Edelbrock elbow with 90mm throttle body and tap new 2000cc injectors into manifold. Hence the reason I'm selling my intake and injectors

Should be good.

My au had heat looked to be the exact same twin throttle body setup as that and it nosed over hard at 4000-4500.
Did you get it back to the dyno?

Nah not yet,
Plan on going thru the whole car before I blow another $500 on dyno time only to find out there's something else that's not up to scratch.
Just wanna rule out any possible issues
