definately getting it j3 chipped and tuned, heavy duty valve springs is no biggy just if i can run a 1521a with no issues id be happy

The 977b os great down low as well as up top so you don't need to rev the tits off it.
Good job getting the fuel under control.
I'm chasing a similar issue with the xh. Only have to do the oxy sensor and replace the fuel pump and I've done everything to ensure it runs right. I even put an xr6 tune in without the xr6 reg so it should be putting in less fuel. Ill still only get around 500ks to a tank but glad its not as bad as yours haha.
Wonder why its better on fuel afyer a clean
so would the 1521a run like crap if your engine wasnt port/polished?
i have the slightest feeling my engine isnt too happy when the revs are around 2500rpms. i am considering putting in a 270kpa fuel pressure reg, would it be too lean to run or should be fine? i was told it is fine although im still not too sure about it! 500ks to a tank sounds pretty good i wish i was getting those numbers haha
