Go nuts... all welcome :)

Cheers for the info bentls. I know about after warranty assistance as I've worked at CRC lol. After 110km with in the 3 years they normally provide 75% if it's a known issue. Because I've bought the car out of warranty, I've got less chance of claiming anything though. I went in to your dealer today to see if they have on their wty system whether hose campaign has been performed and they couldn't tell for some reason on their system. They didn't look at the car thou.

Spotted the crandog on Manchester Rd. today too lol. Was fkn funny normal I spot him in his EL and he spots me in my random E-Series... today it was B-Series turbos  Haha.

I missed the boat for daylight pictures again for the interior with gym and washing the car and what not, but they are clearer than the 1st pic I put up...

It's an early BA Fairlane option wheel I think. The original owner had it fitted pre-delivery as he got it cheap off ebay and preferred a chunkier wheel. Only letdown is that the woodgrain doesn't match any of the interior, although it doesn't look completely out of place for some strange reason. I was given the original steering wheel when I picked up the car, it's brand new still! (obviously :? )

Nice as interior!
i think the standard clutch won't like too much power being thrown at it, especially with 110k on it. and i can imagine it will cop a bit of a hard time :-P

Went and bought a Meguiars clay bar kit tonight and some carnauba wax. Not sure I'm doing it right but it seemed to work OK. Did the front bar and bonnet with the claybar, going to prob hit the boot and roof with clay bar to get the sap off as well this weekend.

Hitting it all with T47 swirl remover and carnauba wax as well.

If it was a E-Series I'd just crack out the buffer set to 3000+ RPM, 3M microfinishing compound and some other swirl remover + 11ty water. On this I don't really want to machine buff :( It sends cutters flying everywhere :(

Got all my details update with Ford as well last week and today received my Ford Roadside Assist card that is still valid till November :D Free RACV ftw. I'm also going hard at Ford for some after warranty assistance to fix a power steering whine and slight rear end thunking which I believe is the diff bush. C'mmoooon free sh1t.

Is it as good as ur EL2 XR8? Is it under finance?

How much is it costing you to get the diff bush replaced?

Were you able to haggle down from $25k?

Are the XR8 rims in 17'? Wtf?

the diff bush will be done when i can be farked. car drives fine with it flogged out anyway.

is it just me or is the shifter really long compared to a BA MKII?

Did they chuck longer shifters on the BF's for any reason?

Well, that was shortlived.

On the drive to work today I was rear ended by a Landcruiser at about 50km/h-ish while at the boom gates on Manchester Road in Mooroolbark :S Wiped the rear end off pretty much from the top of the back bar to the rear window, which is also shattered.

Pics to come.

Hoping like fk it's gunna be a write off... the car didn't have a scratched nut or bolt let alone any accident repairs :( And I've heard if the accident is as bad as this one even if the car is repaired it may be listed as a RWO on vehicle status checks? Can anyone confirm? The insurance value is $6k more than what I payed for it. Typhoon here I come.
