wont it still ride the same if you just cut them?
CHEETR wrote:cutting them removes coils.. leaving it very easy for them to jump out when theres heaps of travel.
CHEETR wrote:they are heated at very high temperature and compressed with a machine, exactly the same way they are manufactured.

got a AU XR8 maf, and some 24lb injectors... a place called BLUE POWER racing developments that i have bought some bits from seems pretty good for tuning.. so i might be using them now to do the new computer and dyno run.
so will do that in like a month when i got some annual leave
CHEETR wrote:they couldn't lower the car as the previous owner has put a dodgy camber kit in with packers, so any lower and its gona rip that away from the walls.
car goes back in 2weeks for camber kit and springs compressed.
white walls are on now on the 20z and has BLUE POWER racing developments written down the bottom of the doors.
looks pretty sweet.
CHEETR wrote:alot harder for them to pop out of position as with retaining all the coils theres alot more resistance holding them in place.
theres also less travel, meaning less rubbing
CHEETR wrote:no one.
a mate put them on to me who had his xr6t done there.
after the shit that dynomotive have caused to the car, im goin to blue power nto have a new computer done and ditch teh unichip and install my 24lb injectors and 75mm maf.
CHEETR wrote:was gona get cve to do it, but not really keen on the j3 chip read up a bit on them. the ones blue power do seem pretty good.
