they do need to get a RWC.
then present the car to vicroads, however by the looks of it vicroads only really pay attention to the items that were specified on the defect.

Yeah they ticked major, meaning I need a RWC even though it was for only one thing. So annoying! Hopefully I can get one ASAP and Vic Roads passes me then I get the all clear :)

Trav, runs alright without a cooler. Obviously it would be much better with it but at this stage I am happy with what I have.

They told dad that they only look at the bits wrong and that is it .

Yeah I heard you got yours done already. So if I keep the turbo on, and just fix the ride height they will still help out with a RWC?

Major doesn't necessarily mean it needs a RW. There's a seperate box that says "RWC Required" and if it's ticked you need one.

Lol @ Kristy

Pretty sure RWC was ticked on both mine and Pete's cars. Pete's car is in as we speak and mine is going in this afternoon.

Pete an I were out until 11 last night changing my radiator which decided to die. So frustrating!!

Thanks to Kev for saving the day :)

Gonna get both at the same time :) Still not sure what to get yet. Something newer and different because I dont want to be a sheep and get a BA, although i like driving them.

Got a thing about Peugot's atm but depends on price when the time comes. If I do that, then I will keep the EB and respray it etc :D

yeah witha volvo motor (i work for volvo).
theyre a very nice and reliable motor but i dont no much about the resy of the car.
they look good and sound alot better than the volvo tho.
or if u do want to go euro then a volvo s40 t5 and u can get them autop where as the xr5 is only manual i think.
or even a c30 which is a 2 door. both arent bad cars a bad car.

Paying off a car as part of your mortgage is a bad idea.

A 30k car becomes a $70k car over 30 years at the current interest rates.

Do you intend on keeping the car for 30 years? Copping depreciation then paying interest for something that you dont own is pretty gay.

Funny you saying paying off something over 30 years dan. I have a friend who's paying off some puppys on her chest over 30years. Pictures in the thread that Mark TD shouldnt be able to view

Yeah I get what you mean Dan, you always lose value on cars though anyway. Doubt it will be an Xr5, I would like to find something reliable enough under 20k if possible.

Anything is more reliable then an e-series turbo daily :P See what happens.

Read the signature man. T04e turbo on a log-style manifold.

Car looks, uhhhhh, different haha. I'm confused as to whether I like or not, but it's a good effort anyway and good on your for doing it! Different isn't always bad that's for sure. I have plenty of fur in my car, but it's burgundy - slightly less girly :-P
