measured the inlet to this the other day too, 3.5" does that make it a s-trim? jared posted something like the wheel in the s trim is 3.5"and the t trim is 3.75" well my blades look bigger than the opening on the front housing and have curved corners on the blades so they sit up flush with where the housing is smaller than the blades themselves if that makes any sense...

if you have a 3.5" silicon joiner off the front it will be an s/sc-trim (it could be an a-trim too but i am assuming it's not because a) you mentioned curve blades and b) it's actually making power now)
it's only 3.5" on the outside, it necks down, inducer is 3.1".
t-trim is 3.75" OD and 3.3" inducer.
they have a plate on the gearbox that will tell you exactly what it is.

t-trim usually have "V1 RACE"
if it's only a 3.5" intake its not a t trim.

It will be an S trim.
They are still a very good blower.
Mine on my 5 litre commodore made 334rwkw. So you don't need a T trim
LTDHO has a S trim and he makes plenty.

i want to hit the highway real bad now and go beat those cars which beat me the other week cos i was wheel spinning to bad :D

after i finished work today as i was walking back to my car noticed a puddle about the size of a CD under the back of the car and instantly thought **** i botched the diff hat when i put it back on... only to find my twin 2.5" exhaust has rubbed itself a nice hole in my fuel tank....

depending on prices, i should have a sweet custom alloy tank in there which doesnt come over as far as i dont want to go smaller exhaust, and theres fk all room there to move it

its a shitty old v6 tank anyway as the previous owner had it so low that it tore a hole in it over a speed hump or some shit he says... but probably actually had the same problem as i just had...

another axle bites the dust... fuel leak still there(havent filled tank up high enough to leak out since tho) and ehxuast still rubbing on fuel tank hole....

is $2500 too much for a 3.7:1 9" with detroit locker and mounts to bolt straight up to a vn keeping standard width ie: dont need to tub it

Tuff! Considering what they cost to build and setup to suit, that's a fair price.

The Borgys aren't that bad though have you considered something like a Kaaz or even a Lokka?

If you're gonna spend that though, I'd just grab the 9" intead personally.

I'd go the 9" also, they cost a mint to have made for the car, and you still have the option of selling it separate to the car in the future. Plus it has a good ratio. Just to buy a new set of borgy 3.7s is like $750 bucks.

9 inch ftw.

BITD I was quoted around $3k to make a 9 inch fit an LC torana with any gears I wanted with a detroit locker and 31 spline axles.

That was like 4 years ago so $2500 is probably a good price. Is it 31 spline?

James mackie I was skating past him last night and he wants to use mine for his drift car cos he keeps popping i6s haha. I have about 50kg of added shit in the car and kester riding shotgun and was pulling away from him pretty easy an he was on his own. Vt has high ks but has a new motor in it. Used to have a whipple blower on the old motor so the diff and trans have had a hard life (especially with mackie driving it) he's got stickers on it "for sale 15.5k"

haha it sounded awesome friday night about 12:30....

not only was i just losing a roll on with a ls1 vs wagon.... but i changed into 3rd and ended up with a box full of neutrals...

options:
another t5(hopefully clutch is still good with meat left) $880 (if need clutch prob like 400ish for good one)
t56 mal wood kit $4500ish
manualised turbo 400 with a 3500 stall or something unsure of prices yet... id probly be more inclined to go an already built box and get a converter to suit.

id like to keep it manual as it is factory manual, however i also want to run it down the strip and see how fast i can go with this power.... auto will also help me save diff i reckon too....

Sell the 5 litre and supercharger setup and buy an LS1 with a 6 speed attached, go faster more reliably and use less fuel to do it :)

I think he means put an LS1 in the VN.

Im sure he'd be happy to put an F6 motor in his ED.

You could probably pick up an LS1 with a T56 for cheaper than a T56 conversion for the 5 litre.

This one ^^^^^

Dunno what you could sell the blown 5 oh for but surely the $4500 you're thinking about outlaying on a man gearbox + what you can sell the 5L for would pretty much pay for an LS1 and 6 speed conversion, then you'd have a tuff box and similar power, but with huge amounts of headroom :D

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
