clutch is necked too.... its like a 5puck ceramic PBR clutch... was seriously the best gripping clutch ever.. never once slipped while driving, snapping 2nd/3rd etc, only slipped doing low speed car park stuff (had to just rev up and dump it basically or it slipped hard)
bit of a shame, it was heavy, but it was the best feeling clutch while driving...

unsure what to do still, ls1 + t56 is looking to add up way too much, im thinkin of puttin in a 2nd hand t5 and finding a new 5puck clutch for it, and just lower my price on carsales and get rid of it ....

I like that idea bentles, fix it for as cheap as possible and flog it off.
from here it gets expensive and it doens't seem like you're commited to it.

That price from NUT347 seems pretty good, if not I'm sure they'd be a bit easier to find than a Ford V8 T5.

heres a list of why mines more worth what im asking
better wheels
no gay bonnet scoop
not hacked up front bar
has rego
better interior
no gay handbrake lever
no gay steering wheel
no gay gauges everywhere
no gay dash mat covering up probably epic cracked dash
no gay piping
mine has a full respray with pearl (incl door jambs)
even tho mine is 3psi less and standard cam i have 10 hp less..

could this debacle get any worse? yes.

bought a used t5 tonight... where it bolts up to the bellhousing is different... one i bought is wider than my original one... now need either new bellhousing or thinking i might get changeover(but swap it for a narrower bellhousing box)

ok sick, sent the guy i bought the t5 off a message, turns out he had the bell housing still but it was on ebay, with bids on it...

luckily his ebay ad has no pics on it, cos i swapped my bellhousing for his one

so 2 trips to narre warren in 1 night (2 too many) and ive got it all sorted!
hopefully get a clutch tomorrow and get my flywheel machined, so i can start putting it back together hopefully have it running by thursday... so friday i can hopefully dump the exhaust at the diff..... then its all ready for C4C and i just wont drive it till then....

(exhaust getting dumped at diff due to it hits diff hardcore, not due to extreme hektik **** rating)

new starter is in. starts good now....

box in neutral clutch in runs fine
let clutch out with box in neutral at 2000 rpm bang stalls

put box in first with clutch in, start car, runs fine, let clutch out with revs bang stalls

box in neutral, engine off back wheels turn.

box in first, with clutch depressed, engine off, cant spin wheels..

really starting to piss me off, think my input shaft is seized?
but i was able to turn it when i lubed it up when putting the box in... (so theoreticall letting the clutch out with box in neutral SHOULDNT cause it to stall....

Sounds like the selectors are bent and allowing the box to grab two gears at once.

ok pulled out the box i put in, the little snout bit which holds the input shaft in place and shit has seized into my thrust washer or clutch disc, still havent removed clutch yet due to complete laziness, and cbf'dness.
