It astounds me that people get wide rims and stretch Tyres over them.

It looks gay, gives your rim no protection and would get less traction then that tyre fitted to the correct sized rim.

Yeah looks a bit stupid but its not our car so do what makes you happy.

What size tyres are stretched on them and what sizes are they?
Looks like massive stretch.

Stretched tyres serve the purpose on a drift car but yeah bit dumb on a daily.

Smoother transitions and not as snappy.

Basically makes them slide smoother as the sidewall doesnt roll over sort of thing.
It does help even with my terrible driving haha

I think it was a worthwhile trip.
whilst i think its a bit much, it was only the rear that i wasnt much of a fan of.

with proper tyres on the rear and sitting ~15mm further in i think it'd look pretty good.

but eh, it was only for AFD anyway

The wheels were a good idea I thought, a little different but they definitely got some attention! My ute was next to yours and nearly everyone that walked past made comment on them, whether it was positive or people having a bit of a laugh, everyone looked!
I don’t think I would run them daily, but for a show why not!

I heard a lot more negative comments than good when I was around it  but the whole idea is to stand out, and the wheels did just that! :p Yeah the rears are now off and back to running 2x BA GT wheels, fronts I can't swap until I swap wheels back with Bentley.

Lol each to their own.

I'm not a fan, they suit Bentley's but not Damo's.

Maybe with a different offset and tyres they could look good.

stretch is kind of pointless on live axle cars from a "stance/fitment" point of view, cos there is a balance between poke and the car sitting too high you need to get right, whereas on a irs car you can camber the **** out of it so you can have poke but it will just camber in more and clear the guards...

if they didnt run such big spacers on damos car so a wider tyre fit without hitting the guard something like a 295 or 315 or something it would look better. but whos gonna drift on a 315 tyre.... not me thats for sure.. its not even legal in 95% of competitions unless ur driving a 3 tonne car...

and to people who go "ha couldnt afford the right size tyres" i went through 46 brand new tyres last year, you try buying 56 tyres that are 12" wide

hmm now I think about it yes, could actually be the same wheel?
I really want the ones I saw at Summernats but can't seem to find the darn wheels! :banghead:
They were pretty much the same as the Timeless 2's but different spoke shape, machined face but same dish look, as I reckon the chrome spokes are a bit much.

Also found out I still had about an inch or just under clearance on the inside of the rear wheels before anything started to hit! that's with 35mm adapters on the short side(where the diff is offset to the right)

So many people checking it out at AFD!

Love the wheels, so much so I even had them on the wagon :P

The wheels were on the car for one show, no need to get everyones knickers in a twist :P

Yes its a daily atm, No the wheels arent on it for good!

PGR pumped guards make the 10's at the front fit mint!!
