Soooo....an update on the slowlane. As a some of you would know, very early last sunday morning it did actually almost become the Deathboat Mk II.

I was driving home after dropping some friends off and a stolen early model telstar without headlights ran a stop sign at some immense speed and hit the RH side of the boot. Massive impact, on a wet road the slowlane slid about 40-50m before smashing into the gutter with the LHR :( The two wankers in the telstar ran away on foot as soon as their car stopped, I don't know where they went.

If I had have been half a second slower it would have hit me in the drivers door and I'd possibly not be typing this...

I never got insurance on the car because I drove it like a nana and I figured I'd never need it...didn't take into account the chances of a couple of freaks almost killing me at 4 in the morning, so unless the cops get them (unlikely) I just have to suck it up. Fucking gay.

Yellow arrow indicate telstars direction, blue is the fairlane, various coloured rectangles are final resting places of the two cars, X is the approx impact point. Green rectangle is a parked mint manual cobalt ED XR6 which missed out on getting snotted by the telstar by about 50cm, Sooooooo lucky.

LHR wheel ended up on the gutter, where the skid mark ends :(

Telstar ended up here....lucky reprieve for a pretty nice boxcar...

So depressing, this car was such a champion. Apart from the window reg and an oil and filter change I haven't had to touch it, and it was getting better fuel consumption than they were supposed to get when brand new. Had quite a few chicks comment on how nice the interior was too...nobody has ever said that about the ED :(

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Tank FTW! I bet the Telstar looked worse.

Looks like it was a mint cruiser. :-(

I was on the Gold Coast in Feb this year and I saw your ED driving north up the freeway towards the theme parks I reckon.

Looked very tough :D

I overtook you in my Rental Yaris though.... :o

Thats fucking gay mate. Glad your OK tho. Theres heaps of cheap banger dailys around. Just an unneeded hassle finding another one.

Would have been pretty unpleasant if they T-boned you properly. I've had that happen and I can tell you B-pillars hurt when you smash your head on them.

If it had a Rex front bar I'd be interested to know who's it is, coz Rollin's has been in his garage since last year.

Far out!

Good thing is that you are still alive. ;)

By the looks of things though, looks like the towbar was the only thing that stopped it from crumpling a hell of a lot more too therefore saving more bits that you can use in the ED ;)

Hopefully the cops catch the bastards and make them fork out for it.
