Shit man :( That's tough luck. The 4 speed autos seem to fall apart even when built according to the XR6T forums. Just gotta go easy on 'em I guess.. a lot probably depends on how it's driven.

Yeah the auto was a little weird when i got it, sometimes it hit the limiter when revving out 2nd.
After i got injectors it couldn't cope with the power and started slipping after about 4500rpm in 2nd and was flairing 2nd to 3rd even when going slow. So bluepower played with the auto shifts a bit and now its better but will still slip when flat out but only 2nd to 3rd.

I'm getting it rebuilt and fitting a trans cooler so hopefully it holds together

Have thought about a stally but not sure.. would be fun and all but would just make it spin up even easier. (dunno if thats a good thing or a bad thing lol)

Might be getting a guy i no in sunbury to do it or through bluepower...

small update..
Car is going well (for now) had some more auto issue's lol and i'm now looking for a manual to put in it so i can break cv's instead of autos :drinks2:
Picked up a alloy coolant tank off ebay.. it was $190 and looks like a copy of the pwr ones. Seems pretty good for the price, way better than the old brown tank that was there!

Should have brought it back, then i could have fitted the P/D charger to that as well and had two boosted fords.... THAT would have been good. Parf should have got it instead of the EF he had

now i have to get the flash tuner done again because it didn't work the first time. the car is currently speed limited to 45kph as it thinks the auto is missing..

What did you need to do to put the 6 speed in? What did you do with the Tailshaft? Asking cause I'm about to be assisting in a T56 - BA conversion

a few people have done it on fordxr6turbo...
wasn't too hard, i only used a tailshaft half not the whole thing. the slip yoke and length are different.
then there's the box, clutch + flywheel, crossmember, shifter and surround, pedal + master cyl (went in easy i didn't change the peddle box just cut the brake pedal down to regular size.) mmm might be more..

Yeah i wouldn't mind some rear dumpage but it already has SSL springs and it costs like $100+ to get them reset i think? plus its not great for the CV's either..
Need someone to photoshop a chrome boot spear on there.. not sure if it'd be sik enough?
I fixed the power steering leak with a bit of stuffing around.. stupid ford and ther power steering hose design! had to grind the old fitting off the end of it to put a new one on. Or i could have just got a whole new hose for $270 lol.
An the BF brakes on the front are sooo much better than my old ones!!
