best place to get a walbro is ebay (last time I looked $140ish plus postage) but id go a bosch 040 or the 023, as for the 12:1 OBX, PM MrCVE or iceman (snort performance) they will be able to supply you one..

ok so just when i finaly get the interior fully back together i have to strip half of it back out i have just got onto an imaculate el fairmont ghia leather interior (seats, door trims, centre console) and elec windor regs and loom for rear doors at a price i couldnt refuse so with any luck i will put them in this weekend and post some pics to see what you guys think

i finally got some time off work and seen my car for about the first time since my newest son was born (about 7 weeks ago) put the el ghia interior in so thought i'd chuck some pics up and hopefully in the next few weeks i will have the car at my house instead of parents shed and i will actualy be able to work on it

hadn't put door trims on yet

looks like a stain but i sat on it after rolling in dirt it came out

thanks guys it will be a while before it is going i have got a set of injectors and new ems computer set up for it that i need to fit, it still won't go found the smart lock module has died i was going to get one from wreckers but ef and el had a black smartlock box apparently and this has a blue one so i don't know if they are the same.

Blue BCM is from futura, and maybe fairmont.. black from falcon.. was out at MAW this morning and hes got an EF mont there..

*Edit EF mont = Green..
MAW also had an EF futura..

thanks mate hopefully it will be out this summer i'm moving into my new house with a big shed at the end of the month so i will have it home with me and will actually be able to work on it flat out just depends on how the move goes it is a big job when you have 3 kids lol

chucked the new bcm in the old girl today still the same problem no fuel or spark so i decided to bite the bullet and pull the whole dash out again and see what i can find after about a minute i found that the main body and engine harness that is actualy bolted in like the ecm plug was loose when i had tightened it up last time there was some sort of interference and as it tightened it pulled the guts out of the plug so the bolt was tight but the plug had fallen out got a new plug from the wreckers went about the tediouse job of replacing all of about 2000 wires in it put the dash back in and tried my luck and thankfully she fired first hit of the key, she lives again now, i just have to refit the whole dash properly as i just done up a couple of screws incase that didn't fix it, also fitted new oil feed to turbo as prev owner must of been a dodgey kent and even f**ked that up, next task is the exhaust, so if anyone has a 3" exhaust for an EF just lying around let me know

yeah i'm in the same boat, looking at 3"exhaust for mine, i've got plenty of s/steel pipe, I just need to bite the bullet spend the $250+ and get a bottle of argon for my TIG, and make one up, I scored a 3" s/steel CAT in perfect condition from work a few weeks back and should be able to make up a muffler out of some 4" pipe and some sheet..

yeah i am going to order in a length of stainless i already have a 3mtr length of exhaust pipe but i would rather stainless carline mufflers reckons he can supply a full 3" to suit EF but ive been waiting about 2 months for a price lol, i just don't like making exhaust because i know it will hit somewhere and rattle and that just pisses me off

the car is coming along nicely now have made the exhaust centre section just need a tail pipe to bolt on then it is off to the tuners to sort out a couple of issues took a couple of pics as i finaly got her out of the shed for a quick clean up

The blue parcel shelf isn't staying it was part of the f**ked up interior it came with just haven't got to fixing that yet and the crow cams sticker is coming off also

yeah i bought this car about a year and a bit ago but it was nearly dead taking alot of time to get it back to wher it is now, i ran out of time today i was going to fit the bar back up here is a pic from when i bought it just so you can see it fully assembled

this car was built first wearing SIKFRD plates in shepparton, std ef motor turbo'd. Then changed hands to a kid i went to school with at the time who paid 10g's for it and dubbed it DRFTKA, during this time it got major defected twice (with the turb setup installed). after that i think it went on to another bloke in shepp then off to a QLD member. funny where it is now. that interior used to look fantastic, clearly was never done properly or has been neglected since.
looking good now tho good effort :good:

hope to see it in some car shows round the place!
