alright now!

Car been running nicely with about 480rwkw~. Will put it on a dyno once shops reopen for a printout.

I only have one tune and thats all it sees on the street and strip.

Car should get about 142-143mph as it is so it should get a high 9. Car is on about 24psi. Car will hit the track in the next few weeks. If i run the 9 at calder I wont be going back as I am never fitting a cage. Car will be fully resprayed (most likely same colour) in the next few weeks too. I might try e100 (same price as e85) and get it retuned if i get a 10.0 and try again. Then go NOS once its done. Should be a good year!

Fingers crossed i start the fresh year with a 9 and no issues! Fastest BA-FG on ET Streets is a 10.40 so i should beat that. (Another dyno-mite car). 2012 will be the year where cars run 9s alot easier! So much has evolved in the last 3 years!

go rip some skids or something man, let loose for new years eve. this poor car is always subjected to your mismatched math and instructions set by the tuner. let it live for a little on the limiter, gutter to gutter in 3rd gear...
its the least you can do :p

:)

Car isnt built for burnouts. Maybe when the auto is done properly then sure. Still only a BTR and stock diff! If i wanted to rip burnouts id get a lighter car, manual, and cost under 2k lol :P Burnouts dont do it for me.

Highway Cruising does :) (and track racing) Hence you see it more then any other car probably! I might run a 9, but id probably loose to manual falcons with 400rwkw on the hwy 60-XXXkm/h.

Few boys out now with big power coming out to play on the hwy this year....see how we go :)

Car is booked in for a full respray and new GT BF Frontbar as this one is damaged.

gotta love non changing rating 1!

hopefully will go down to heathcote on the 11th of Feb with the car looking perfect and see if i can run a 9 with brand new ETs ill buy the day before.

Then ill ring up bayswater auto's and see if they have moved ahead with the testing of the powerglide internals in the 4sp BTRs!

Ill have a dyno result tomorrow or tuesday as the weather has finally gone under 35! I will post final dyno results and boost soon. Hope to see 470+rwkw. Exciting times agead!

i actually have no idea how much its got. when un-tuned it was 464rwkw with wheelspin. then got 4" full exhaust, 1.6psi more boost and a retune so hoping a bit more. See how we go. Wouldnt it be funny it it was like 500rwkw? lol!

well that dyno result was a fail.

only got 418rwkw and all wheel spin on the RE CUSTOMS dyno. They usually host all the dyno nights down in VIC. If they cant hold it down ill just go to a hub/engine dyno one day. Meh. Least i saw a smooth line on AFR and BOOST whilst i was there. 24psi tapes to 23psi. Car makes power past 7000rpm and kept going! will need it when passing the line in 3rd lol.

anyway enough dyno queen'ing. But now i know i cant enter any dyno comps blah not to mention I have to explain about the ams1000 lol.

Guess we will see how much power when i run the ET AND MPH

Dion knows all about the AMS1000 and knows when to throttle on/off at what time the boost is released etc etc. I had no idea how to explain it to the dyno operator. I tried but obviously no good. I am guessing that AMS + dyno's == fail. Anyone know anyone else with big power + ams and not having issues on the dyno?

i dyno'ed it with great condition 17" stock tyres on 40psi.

I reckon you should take it down to cve just for a power run at least, he seems keen to strap it down properly so we can all see what your actually making

I have offered, even offered a money back guarantee, but my offer was rejected.
So I don't think we will ever know the car's true potential !! It may be safer for all of us that way as my dyno is only good for 900 rwkw. :good:

Can't imagine the power would ramp up so sharply as to me an excuse for wheelspin... I've seen some supras /GTRs make big power on dynos with some VERY steep power curves and they've not wheelspun.

What is this ams thing you're on about?

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

AMS 1000 is a boost controller. it allows you to program a boost curve.

Usually you use it to bring in the boost progressively, that way you don't blow the tyres off on the racetrack.

My mustang for example I launch the car at 10 psi and bring up the boost to 20 psi over a 5 second period. if i do it any faster it wheelspins.

remember the old days where boost spiking was all the rage, they didn't wheel spin and they were over 1000 rwkw.

What is this ams thing you're on about?

AMS1000 is a boost controller that uses CO2 to control wastegate operation. It is a drag orientated boost control setup. Also known as another excuse as to why iCER hasnt made the huge power figures he's calling before dyno runs.

sorry !!

think about the power curve on a nitrous car, especially one with say a 300-500hp hit. same thing on the dyno.

Unless your happy to stick around. Im even happy for you to play around with the AMS as you know what your doing and save it in one of the BIN setup files.

No Dansedgli. 464 is highest reading I had before last round of mods.

lol @ excuses. The wheelspin printout is a massive zigzag up and down the dyno sheet. Im happy to say i only got 418rwkw when i rape cars with 450 :P

Has anyone considered that if it hooks up it might spin the earth the wrong way on its axis.

Be careful, its 2012 after all.

Anyway, 418 is pretty good for injectors, exhaust & edit. Good job.

Now you have me worried ! better hold off, I got shit to do !

But seriously, Dion should be the one dynoing it, it's his baby.
He would be able to hold it.
