just some happy snaps from Sandown 500. Good thing was car got a bit of attention. Must of been the super awesome 700hp lawl number plate up in the bay. By looking inside engine bay they couldn't see anything to fancy. I should invest in one of those board with a list of mods...

Plenty of Holden sticky beaks....

nah dont own the other 2 lol. I thought it was wasted funds as the car rolls like this 100% of the time.

And for people who dont know, they are not stockies on the back. They are MT40/17/275 ET Street semi slicks. Its how i drive it on the street always :)

its how i roll!

btw car has like 750+ bhp :).

Dion actually gets his new dyno next week, will be going down again for a run and see how much it is after the last few changes from 463rwkw.

as you can ask 100% of people, im just a warrior on the interwebz. People who take it serious like nut743 obviously have issues in real life. I just pass time on the forums. Way to busy with REAL things to care online. Its my outlet for venting :D

bng, read above, 480rwkw is about 750 bhp. (i would presume most people know what bhp is, but for those who dont, its engine hp). Either way, car is well over 700 bhp but i dont like to boast now do i :)

Next dyno run i should remove the convertor and put c16 in just to see if i can get 522rwkw :D (700rwhp).

HYPOEB, went from 3.5" to 4" exhaust, new twin entry dump and 0.9psi more boost. Oh also an oil catch can setup bruz!

lol. I like potato's!

its loud... ;( cruising is bearable over 80km. Getting up to 80 is pretty damn loud. On boost forget it...everything is screaming and screeching. I just hold on. I got no idea what it would sound like outside with screaming turbo, screaming wastegate, screaming 4" exhaust and 4" pod with 24psi....i can only imagine it would sound pretty good! on idle and rolling past people though its like the car is off so least i can roll past popo.

When at lights the AMS (boost controller) ticking is louder than the car. So i just put foot of brake and use the hand brake and it doesn't tick.

Also here you go Hypoeb-

Brake horsepower
Brake horsepower (bhp) is the measure of an engine's horsepower before the loss in power caused by the gearbox, alternator, differential, water pump, and other auxiliary components such as power steering pump, muffled exhaust system

Its how the yankies measure their cars (like manufacturers here use fly wheel kw to rate cars). We use MPH for track times so why not bhp too. BHP looks better than fwhp and (should be) recognized worldwide.

I think Australia is the only country who use fly wheel kw?

Only 136mph and in both lanes..? Clearly you can't even steer the thing let alone drive it. Why don't you give someone else a crack.. bet it would run a 9.99 straight up.

9.99 with 420rwkw? i done 1.64 60 foot's. Will someone do 1.3's with et streets? must be some pro! Not to mention there is like 7 people with 9.99 or better over the last 10 years from bseries up.

So 10 years of b-series or better, 7 drivers 9.99 or better. yea ...look how common it is. Straight up alright :)

Not to mention fastest time on ETs is like 9.9x which was only done last few weeks with an unbelievable 1.4x 60". (best 60" on et's so far to date)

I like how you make it all sound so easy. Obviously more clueless than I am :)

Yeah I've never put a car down the track in my life. I guess I'm not a member of enough forums or read enough useless facts about times with x tyre and y engine and record this and dyno figure that. Forgive me. Guess I'll have to start signing up and spinning shit all over the internets before ANDRA will renew my licence.

Last time I looked the term 'stockies' referred to rims not tyres.... And since your running stock xr rims yes they are stockies.

Can't remember who said it but someone suggested losing the stockies and the heavy 20s and running some proper lightweight rims, that I reckon would make this car perfect.

Re: Built BA XR6T NOW ~480rwkw. Chasing 9s 2012!

I'm just going to jump in late about this BHP shit, because it pisses me off.

Any british show (Top Gear most notably) tells you flywheel horsepower but they alwayy say 'Brake horsepower'. Even when they put cars on chassis dynos they still give the measurement in bhp

As iCER posted above, BRAKE horsepower is the engine with NO ancillaries attached (no water pump, power steer pump etc). It's COMPLETELY USELESS for comparing power output, because I'm quite sure there isn't an automotive engine in the world that doesn't have SOMETHING being driven off the crank to enable it to run or continue running.

fwhp or rwhp are the only semi-worthwhile figures to quote, trying to figure bhp is a joke.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

its a shame there isnt just 1 unit measurement.

I prefer one that reads the highest :)

20s ET's? Interesting. Anyone got any experience on them or proven times? Dont want to be the first to spend 500$ a corner and have fail results lol.
