Any car that runs 14's is slow.

This isnt ozecruisers.

Mint car tristan. That interior is the same as that AU I had ages ago. I wasnt much of a fan either but at least the outside of your car matches.

dan never said that most of the cars on here will run a 14,
he said a 14 sec pass is slow and most of us realise it

nah keep it and it wont shouldnt depreciate like any other car does anyway.
good job mate should tie u up til u find a good xy.
cheers josh.

Cheers josh, yeah i was going to put a big single turbo on it, but i think im better off saving the time and cash for other things, im just going to keep it and leave it at tune intake and exhaust.

SLOLS1 wrote:slow?? cant be that bad man you been driving an au wagon hahaha....
very nice ive always had a soft spot for these cars.. good to see you in a v8 again

well you must never underestmate the AU wagon! nah true its not that slow... a mate ran his not long ago dead stock TS50 with 100k on the clock rattled off a 13.7 not bad for a stocker...

ef- falcon wrote:how can u say that is slow

it is as kester said compaired to my 375rwkw typhoon its damn slow! but still so much nicer to drive!

Yep, galaxy or narooma blue on the outside. Black and red on the inside. :S

I wish I still had some pics of it. It would be a sweet car to own these days. Not as many AU taxi's around bringing it down. :P

Oh man, thats how I want mine to look! Minus wing and wheels though. Is that a T3 rear bar and skirts? I like the persute front lip thing better than the XR50 bar replacement.

Yer i was gonna say i think the manual ones will run a decent high 13s thats what i heard them running too... Manual v8 that runs 13s would be plenty of fun to putt around in...

Next time your having one of your tristan photo shoots give us a bell

Fvck me those cars look awesome!! I looked at a T2 before I got my XR8, but couldnt justify the extra cash for what would have only got me a fancy dash and thats it. I will own one of these one day..........

Exactly mate, hence why I didnt bother paying extra for one, but sadly don't have enough for a T3. You better keep that one locked up though, you might find one day it will magically turn blue and have quad headlights! :P

Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning, yeah you might want to double check what your saying... T3 have a little thing called a stroked crank! argo rods and Acl pistons, not to mention the 85mm throttle body the totally diferent intake manifold, the gearbox, the mustang airbox, hpc coated extractors... so nope they must be the same!!!

As for time slips, im not to concerned 14 is good enough for me but a 13 would be nice...

Looks good Tristan, ive always liked the T3. should easily run a 14 if EDGHIA could...biggest problem would be traction.

No need to arc up mate. I just find individuals that over exhaggerate repulsive! The xr8 and T2 is what the T3 is based on and therefor NOT a completely different car!!!!!! Why be so condescending? I will drag your car wherever and whenever just to prove this!
By the way how long did it take you to research those engine specs? Just remember you need to reset all your control arm bushes when dumping a car that low!!!! See you learn something every day squire. lol
