That's tuff.

There was a LS1 VX Berlina on Carsales for $16.5k with 230 at the wheels.

It was sleeper as, just dumped on standard wheels. I wanted.

Does it make that power on LPG?
Either way, fucken tough, and very sleepy.
I'd give that a run on the street without a second thought, and lose horribly LOL

Damn those pesky LSx's. I wish Ford offered a V8 circa mid-late 90s that had the same potential.

Has it been down the 1/4? What's the economy like on LPG?

Although i'm a ford man well before i'm a holden one (mainly due to the ratio of dickheads that drive them) i do appreciate things which are fast and different. That is way cool, pitty about the cutout of 4,000 with the lpg but still sweet as. I have a VN wagon that's stock as, it drifts well but i'm sick of the shitty V6 rattle box in it. I've been thinking seriously about stuffing a crate engine in as a new 350 4 bolt/long/complete engine can be had for $4,000, packing 400hp straight off the bat. Very strong, very cheap and so easy done you can't argue with it.

Ford will be going back to pushrods in the future IMHO with the orion in the next 3 or so years. Pushrods make for a small, cheap and light engine with plenty of cubes. Who every wanted an engine the width of a box trailer just to have twin overhead cams? I've had the unpleasurable experience of engine dramas with the 5.4 and i can tell you they are more heads than they are block, almost the same size as a 302 windsor, it's kinda gay.. The only thing i like is the plenum if you excuse the 200ml of engine oil sitting around the trumpets. Bring back the dinosaur!

Nice! Makes me miss my VX LS1 Berlina.

With the gas injectors cutting out at 4000rpm, there are some gas injection kits around that automatically switch to petrol at high revs/load, so might be something worth looking at (if it's cheap and easy enough)

Its all good having a wolf in sheeps clothing, but no one wants to bother having a go at the lights, i want one of these mofo business types that wouldnt even know what a spark plug is, in there company paid for VE GTS's that think there the shit to have go, so i can just blow'm away in my 7 year old, bbq fueled, VT.
