got rid of the plastics the day i got it and i have never been a fan of neons they were really annoying driving at night and i couldnt turn them off because they were wired up to come on when you turned the head lights on.

there is a few dints and scatches over it the worst prob being on the bonnet just about the right head light where i hit a van at about 10km just after i got it and one of the wheels has real bad gutter rash.

i bought some $8 LED lights from ebay for my eb ghia which had courtesy lamps down there anyway. so i just took out the std white globes and replaced it with those and got basicly the exact same effect. there was 18 LED's on either side so there was heaps of light and because they were hooked up to the original loom they came on when the over head lights went on and off and even faded away like the normal lights rather than just switching off. But i agree it would be shit if you couldnt turn them off. I hated when ppl called them neons because images of jap crap kept flashing up in my head :P
