Hey mate,

Did you de-spoiler it yourself? If so, How?? I undid the bolts on mine but it still seemed to be glued from the middle post?

Any Tips much appreciated.

Thanks,

Will

Very nice mate I would have to say those wheels are some of the best that Ford have brought out. Suit your car well.

yea mate i took the spoiler off but the bootlid was well rooted underneath where the spoiler was and had some rust, so i got a new one and got it resprayed in poly green... there are some nuts that hold on a bracket that connects to the middle post im pretty sure... illl have a loook at the old bootlid tomorrow and get back to ya

no real updates on the car but both front and rear speakers are rooted now,so gonna have to replace them.... thinking of fusion front and rear and going to order a colour change for the plates

If your going to get fusion make sure you spend the $$$ and get there good stuff, their bottom of the range stuff is pretty average :)

Ok maybe thinking of going a different way with the interior... really dont want to have to paint any of the interior plastics, so i was thinking about maybe putting full cappa interior in with black vinyl on doortrims and rooflining and black carpet as well... thoughts?

Mate I've often had the same thought, as my interior is all black with white highlights.. but painted plastics are always fail, they scratch too easy etc. In saying that, it looks bloody awesome compared to the std gli grey! Always been a big fan of cappa but already got black carpet and seats.. which I love. Is there any way of properly painting interior plastics..? Im yet to find it.. there are the guys that sell the interior bits on ebay in different finishes but hell expensive.

I should mention, any vinyl I've sprayed using VHT (awaits flaming) has turned out great. My dash came up like factory issue... and looks great after 2 years. Same with the door trims. Its more the hard plastics that are the problem..

looked through your pics and rekon that the grey and black looked pretty good.. in saying that, which parts scratch badly.. cause i dont want to go to all the effort only to have to repaint after i gets scratched

Yeah I havnt put up any pictures of the new interior yet, as I still have a little bit to finish, when I get the chance. :-(

So its all black and white now but the parts that scratch easy are the centre console and the bottoms of the doors.
