Thanks a lot guys.

Unfortunately nothing else has really been done to the car.
I have had a plate bolted through the firewall and replaced the throw out bearing. and hopefully this will eliminate my clutch cable breaking issue.
The last time I cracked the firewall instead of the cable (the firewall I had already had repaired lol)

I did give her a nice polish last week though. was in desperate need of one.

this one I just took Wednesday, car is covered in dust, but not too obvious, just not as shiny as it should be
Image

Still I few things I am hoping to do to her soon, but just gotta get a decent full time job first.

Thanks again

Your car almost fully looks blue in the above pics. Great stuff with the paint on her. SO what are the plans for her? Oh yeah, and what did you use to touch up the front bar?

I doubt that's gunna happen considering this guy is in Queensland.

I know, but there's no denying it would be one of the coolest things ever.

I just spent an hour or so with polish getting all the bugs off (some of which looked like chips)
and I need to spent another hour or so with touch up paint to get rid of the chips. Might do that tomorrow.

I just have a small nail polish bottle with heritage green paint (mixed correctly with thinners) and use that to touch up chips.

Plans for the near future are; tickford rear wing, darkest legal tint, super lows eventually.
Also want to respray the door handles and wheels.

Not an all together stupid idea, at least a meet up, and maybe convince 'coyote' ( don't know your name lol) to do some nice pics of the cars? he's certainly got skills...

That old GT was great. I loved it. Even though it was a series 1 with a 5sp it was quicker than 96% of all the newer 6sp ones.

It was a pitty he sold it but oh well.

Bloody tidy mate!

Keep up the good work. Looks mega clean! But it needs a ticky spoiler stat. Would make it perfect.

Not normally like that to be honest

Thanks superhuS!, the tickford wing and tint are still very high on my to do list.
I have been planning on gettting one for a couple of years now.

here is a couple I took yesterday evening - nothing of great interest, just liked the pics

Thanks guys,
Yeah a Coyote under the bonnet would be nice lol, I photoshopped one under there one day, looks neat haha.

Yes Rick, there will soon be a regency red EL XR6 frequently parked next to mine. Which is nice.
Great car too, under 200k, interior is immaculate and 100% stock. A few minor issues with the exterior, but oh well.
Only draw back is it is auto - but it drives very nicely. She really wanted a manual but for the price it was hard to say no.

I decided it is also time to fix up the front skirt, being aftermarket fibreglass it chips very easily. So after a few years it was starting to look very similar to a lamington.
I took it off tonight and tomorrow morning it will hopefully be all nice and perty again.
