They're wicked cars my mate used to have an R31 wagon with shit paint and stockies. Under the hood was an RB30ET with T04z, motec, locked diff etc. Most fun car ever to drive! I never got any pics but its dead now anyway, rusting in a paddock somewhere. He sold the whole setup for $1500 after the engine blew

My mates are R31 nuts!
We even have the trophey the R31 Skyline club won at AutoSalon here in Adelaide for best club them at my house

All my mates drive 4wd's or boring cars with the exception of 1 bloke with an R33 with a GTR motor in it and 280rwkw. He has a gay veilside bodykit though.

None of them are worthy of a photo.

Mmmm I dont think an old clapped out colt, a 95 323, camry, corolla, VN or chrysler neon are really worth the effort.... the only modded car is a VR with a zorst, front bar and 18" hektik uleh chromies. but even then the paint is absolutely fubar - rust isnt cool.

None of my mates look after their cars. They consider a car the easiest way to get from point A to point B. They completely miss point C.

yea non of my mates get into cars, or they do but dont spend money on them atm cos they all have 1 point to last a year so were not pushing it :p

my mates car: an alfa 105 that had been lowered, twin weber carbys etc...


and an AMC (super rare in Aus) that we planned to do but didnt end up happening so it was sold

Damn I lost all my pics when my computer crashed. I'll just go through the family cars, since my mates aren't really into cars that much:

Brother: VS-III Statesman L67 supercharged. Should be in the mid 12's in about 2 months time (19psi, water to air cooler etc). Lowered way more than my car ever was, but over 17" ROH RT's to keep it subtle.
Step-brother 1: VP aero with 355 COME stroker, custom everything, T56, 300rwkw N/A. Dark purple on 19's. It's an animal of a motor, lumpy as all hell.
Step brother 2: VQ statesman with built bottom end LS1, twin turbo's, T56, gunmetal grey over 20's. Motor is currently still in shop, and I believe the bottom end alone already owes him ~$10k (but I may have misheard).

From what I've been reading on the blown buick's here in Australia, after doing BPU (basic performance upgrades, like 3" zorst, CAI) a further $2400 should net you in the realm of 220-260rwkw and a 11.9 to 12.8 second 1/4 mile (depending on whether statesman/wagon/sedan). Not bad bang for buck if you ask me, no matter how shit they sound.
