SUPRISE :yahoo: i got a new car !!!!
it's a '03, BA-LTD, 5.4, silhouette, black leather, sunroof, sat-nav, etc etc.
it's a ex-gen/manager's car that has been sitting for the best part of 12 mth's with 146,xxx klm's when i picked it up
at $14,000 (market value is alot higher).... yes.... some work need's to be done :P but if all go's well :beg:
i should end up alot better off than paying a higher price for a std car
all going well ? this should turnout to be a .... ummmm ...... a very good car :good:
i'm not going to say much, i'll jut post up some pic's of it "now" (after 4 wash's to get the bug's off)

the pic's come up well, (inside pic's to come) but those who've seen it know there's some work to be done ;)
overall, the base is there..... i've just got to build on it .

Hey Steveo...

VERY nice, and as already stated, complete F*** all were sold...

Just out of curiosity, what badge is on the bonnet? Seeing it isnt a Ghia,
i assume it doesnt have a "G" on the badge... Can you take a pic of it bud?

Cheers!

Nice ride.. I was tossing up between a BA LTD and BF2 Wagon for ages, roughly same prices. One is alot cooler but one was more practical so the wagon won :(

I hope you're going the way i would with this thing. I'm thinking alot of black and chrome.

thanks kris,
yep... josh is on the ball ;) i picked up one of those (as the current one is nqr) & some LTD scuff plate's the other day.
i also got some price's on a few thing's, like the bf "piano black" console surround upgrade ......
$350 for the main facia & button"s  ..... then there's still the rest of the console bit's ....
(which he said would be around the same price), ya gotta love "fraud" with there price's :P
i spoke to paul (CVE) today about a few thing's (so many option's)
so i'll take it all in and work out what way i'll be going with power train.
i must say, i've never used a sat-nav before :geek: but it being already there.... have used it a couple of time's now & is very handy :good:

& yes !!!! i've been slack & have no interior pick's to post :beee:

here are some shot's of inside the car (as i got it), have just got window tint done & will give the inside's a going over once the tint has cured.
i've now got the sunroof i've always wanted.....

Image

all in all the inside of the car is good, just needs a good clean & conditioning .

Image

the drivers' seat has some wear (to be expected) but no damage.

Image

i'll be keeping most of the "LTD" trim's (as not many were made) & doing some small change's to keep the black/chrome style
door handle's i'll be going for the chrome option.

Image

the sat/nav with remote is great ! i'm also wanting to go the "piano black" console upgrade.

Image

the auto shift insert is not matching the woodgrain trim's (fairlane maybe) ???
so got a new one with the LTD logo, along with some new "LTD" scuff plate insert's.

Image

it's got a huge boot..... (room for a sub or six).

Image

with the 'lane for sale soon, the real mod's will start

got it done at the sunroof ceatre, and is the same as kyles'.... (black azz film) 35%- allround.
it look's darker than it is due to the dark interior, i'm happy with how it's come out.

yeah looks pretty dark for 35%.

i was looking at tint and got told 15%-20% on the door windows then on the supercab windows and rear window go 5% but think after seeing yours 5% would be way to dark.
