Well I finally picked up the new wagon yesterday the interior needs some work but it should clean up good. The outside is in pritty good nick a few little marks but it ain't to bad.

My plans are to lower it and get a good set of rims for her and then I was gunna keep it stock. But that didn't last long (actually I didn't even have the car yet  ) The plans are a bit secret at the min but think red and you might be getting close ;). I should be picking up early nest week then the fun should start hopefully I wont have to much trouble I have done a bit of research and it seems all pritty straight forward.

Anyway heres a quick pic of the new beast.

I was playing around with photoshop with a couple of different rims I always thought dark argents would look the goods but now I cant decide between them and typhoons. I think I am leaning towards the typhoons.

What do you guys recon?

Yeah I will get some pics when I have sometime. Plans for the interior is to stay as is for now I am not really to fussed with it. When I get sick of it I will prob get some factory leather fronts then see if that ebay guy can make me up some rears.

Could do with a good clean up noticed the clear starting to peel of the roof the other day wasn't happy. Yeah I dont mind having the cooler so you can see it. It sticks out pritty well from directly front on. Just gives it that little hint.

Ok so been a long time since I have updated this thread thought it was about time.

Anyway been flat out on the wagon.

It has a nice 3.23 LSD in the rear.

I have also put it on injected gas, doesn't quite flow enough if you get up it but its good for cruising. If I want to have a play I can just switch it to petrol anyway.

I have re-done all the tint on the windows as it was all bubbly and crappy looking.

The latest thing to go in is complete leather, black carpet and trim pieces. Still have to pull the whole dash out to put a black one in but that will be when I have a few days spare.

Here are a few pics.

Things still on the to do list are put my complete XR dash in and get a decent steering wheel

I have a new bonnet with XB flutes grafted into it and a complete XR front, need to get all cleaned up and painted then fit it all.

Then I will most likely get some bigger injectors and fuel pump then get her all tuned up.

Are they e-bay leather covers or did you get fairlane LWB rear seats?

What sort of economy do you get from the LPG and what system is it?

Re: Sloxr6's Green Turbo BA Wagon.

PostPosted: November 17th, 2011, 8:17 pm
by Sloxr6
Yeah they are the ebay covers. Its hard to see in the pictures but the stitching around the edge of the seats is green

Havent really worked out a consitent economy yet, but I am still driving around on the $20 bucks I put in it last Sunday and I have been driving it every day.

The system is a cross between Fema and NGV as I have twin fema convertors and am running NGV injectors and ecu.

When the bloke gets some more stock I am grabbing a spare set of injector nozzles off him and I am going to play around with drilling them out a bit further see if I can get it going better on gas.

how is the tune when on boost.
i spoke to a nvg seller getting info as i wanted to put a nvg kit on both my turbo's ba xr6t and xg ute and he said that the nvg ecu wont read boost
and that he would not reccomend using the kit. so i am getting marrelli kits

Yeah I was talking to him he was telling me it would be fine.

Yeah runs fine on boost only problem is it doesn't flow enough but it switches to petrol once it gets to low anyway.

Not sure how much flow you get out of the standard converter as I didn't use it. But they are a good system and cheap too.

Just a little bit of an update I was trying to work out what kind of mileage I am getting out of the LPG setup so I filled it up drove 300ks a mix of highway and city driving then filled it back up again.

It took 45l of LPG to fill it so whats that 45l for 300ks. 15l per 100ks? That's pritty good I think

Its been awhile since I have updated this so thought I better keep it alive.

So anyway I have chucked my XR front and my custom bonnet with XB flutes grafted into it and dropped my wagon off to Dave. (waghoonEF) He is going to do a bit of prep work for me then chuck a fresh coat of paint on the whole car

I have looked at a few jobs he has done and he does a great job so I can't wait till it is all finished. Then I will have to chuck some new tyres on my 19's then take a couple of happy snaps.
