While I am hear I might aswell update.

Still haven't got off my arse and changed the fuel pumps yet

I have the gas running great drilled out the injector nozzles so it flows better made a massive difference to the power delivery on gas.

Also I can't get the brakes to bleed properly I have done all four corners now about 6 times and still can't get a good brake pedal. Anyone got any ideas?

Might have to bleed the abs module.

Cheers

I use a scan tool to enable the abs module to bleed its self.

Dunno another way.
Have you changed your master and booster to accommodate for the larger brakes?

Cheers

Shouldn't have to change the master or booster.
My brother has 6piston front 4 piston rear brembos with stock bf xrt master and booster.

What way are you bleeding?
Like just sucking the fluid through or pumping it with someone inside?
Try cracking the bleeder, pump through, close it, pump up then do that a few times on each wheel.

Yeah I used the ute booster but left my master cylinder as I didn't think there was any difference between them.

Might have to get someone to do the module see if that doesn't do anything.

Yeah that's the way I have been doing. Someone in the car pumping the brake, crack the bleeder till persons foot is on the floor, tighten and repeat. It has me buggered never had a problem bleeding brakes before.

I've always bled brakes the 'traditional' way for BA/BF/FG and never had a drama.
You might need a helper.

Might be a stupid question but did you keep the pads and rotors all matching as they were from the donor car? I presume the Premo brakes come off the Tornado?

Only car I have had shit pedal on that had me stumped was my first au and it was seized slides.
It would feel perfect until you started it then it would be crap again.

Then I went to do pads and yeah found the issue, after that pedal was perfect.

I got told bleed the abs pump and stuff but it didn't do anything.

No such thing as a stupid question when it comes to me. Lol but yeah i kept everything the same from the ute as the calipers will only go on one side anyway.

I also checked the slides before I put them on and they were fine. It has me stuffed.

Ha ha all good. If pads are swapped side to side the pedal may feel average that's all.

Yeah all good. Nah it feels like air in the lines. To get a good pedal I have to pump the pedal first time I push the pedal I can nearly hit the floor then on the second pump there fine. The amount of times I have bled them there surly can't be any air in the lines.

If all the pads went back in the exact same spot then it shouldn't be that issue, if you're not 100% they were then maybe driving it around a bit to bed them might help. Are all the pads fitted correctly and all caliper bolts tight?

Which hubs and wheel bearings are you using? Loose wheel bearings can give low brake pedal too.

Yeah pads and everything in the same sides using the same hubs and bearings that were on the wagon. It really has me stuffed. I might just pull them all right off make sure everything is working and put them all back on and try again. It's got to be something simple

Not really to do with my wagon but I picked up the wagon all my old gear is going into on Wednesday night. Got the polish and wax out today and gave her a bit of a birthday came up heaps better then what it was I think the guy had it parked under a wattle brush tree for a long time there was crap on it everywhere.

Its pretty neat few scuff marks on the side skirts and rear bar but no major dints or scratches.

I don't like the futura rims or what ever they are so I am going to find some hub caps and keep it nice and stock looking.

Ok so I finally got around to fitting the bigger fuel pump in my wagon .(Yay go me) So anyway I have put the 15psi tune in the car and I can't get it to boost over 12psi max. Now with my conversion I am running my own boost control I have tried 2 different boost controllers and even if I disconnect the waste gate I cant get it to boost past 12. It hits 12psi pretty hard but just wont boost past it. Has me buggered. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
