For those that are interested I thought I better get off my arse and do something to this other wagon. Got a fair bit done today just basically gotta put the other gearbox in then the driveline is complete. Then its just the little things that i will have to finish off.

Looking more like a car now.

Nah just run the boost control heaps easier.

Registered is easy its completely legal as this model came out with the turbo motor. But I think I will just get the roadworthy done then the new owner can do the rego in there name.

I reckon this would look just right with a BF bumper and green xr8 bonnet.

Yeah i have wrecked that front bar so when i get the bonnet painted i will get a bf one. For some reason I just don't like the idea of a xr8 bonnet on it.

Bulge ruins sleeper look, stock bonnet ftw!

Also, once the other wagon is finished, swap for V8 on gas?

Yeah I know what you mean. Wagons really need some kind of side and rear skirt type setup to balance it all out.

Hi mate....a bit late to this party, but just stumbled across this thread and inspired by what you have done here.
If you don't mind, would love to know what these wheels are......I'm a bit more conservative I guess and think these are absolutely perfect. (never really used a forum before so hope I have attached image properly)

I have a BF2 wagon, exactly the same colour as yours (before you had it resprayed)......had it for a while but have decided to keep it and bring it "up to scratch". Won't be in your league but if I can get half way there I reckon I'll be pretty happy

Just noticing you started this thread over 8 years ago.....do you still have the car?
Keep looking at the images and how good it looks.....very tastefully done.

Do you have any details on ride height / suspension set up ? (if it's not stretching the friendship)

No unfortunately I started a new job that I had to drive to much and the roads where just going to destroy the car so I had to sell it for something more suitable. Then ended up quitting that job about 3 months later anyway.

I think for memory it was just pedders lows all round

bugga....work always getting in the way of things.

Oh well, just have to build another one....but I'm guessing you've moved onto other things.
