mate put in some punctuation(i added 3 for effect). i had to read that bout 5 times till i understood you??

if you look in the pic, the tube he has run from the front bar pops up right next to his pod so the cold air from that would hit the bonnet right where his pod is sucking the air in. it would run fine.

wat about the side that is toward the engine bay?

wich is a much bigger surface area hence would still get more hot air

admittadly he atleast went to the trouble of puttin the tube in wich is more than most people do but if it was sheilded,do you really disagree with me and say it wouldnt work better?

wat point are you trying to prove or argue about?

because i cant see wat your trying to say? youre wrong im right leave it at that

It runs pretty sweet. I'm satisfied anyway because it sounds good, probably added a few kW too..
I think I will eventually run the pod underneath. It's just buying more piping, joiners etc.. Not to mention widening the hole that it has to be going thru.
I'm not a mechanic either so I struggle with this shit sometimes :(

the cold air from the tube comes right out next to his pod and would spread when it hit the bonnet hence keeping that area cool. that side of the engine bay doesnt heat up that much anyway. i tried to answer your question not argue with you about anything so before you go off you head, take a f*^ken chill pill and read my responses.

so youre trying to say heatsheilding wont benefit?

i didnt start saying how ineficient his cai setup is all i was saying was it will benefit from a heat sheild

besides that the longer the intake tube is the less power and difference it will make .

gerendassi,s is longer and also points up so i really dont think that would be beneficial

you dont seem to have abs so under were the aircleaner is now would be easy to put a bigger tube into and you could also have the pod down flat saving the need for the pipe going up if you needed a really cheap cai you could easily just make a box to sit over the top of the pod and have better tubing coming from underneath you could even use a battery box to cover ,

plastic is not ideal but as ed falcon said it doesnt get to hot there

ed falcon my point is simple heat sheilding is beneficial thats all i was trying to say

Nah in the Uk. However, it is officially the fastest 0-60 car in the world that can legally be driven on a public street.
LoL. The guy who owns this picks up his kid from school in it.
Wouldn't U just be the coolest kid in school getting picked up in the quickest road legal car in the world?

What a joke, thats not a street car. May be legal in the UK but its really only a technicality.

I'm sure you could take a Top fueller to some african nation and whack number plates on it and claim to be the fastest street legal car.

Don't ask me to define what is a street car tho! :)

Never been pulled over in it, its not a daily driver though. Only drive it on the weekends etc really, and to work sometimes.

Then again I never claimed to be street legal or the fastest anything.

No interior, engine climbing out of the bonnet, massive chassis mods & full cage is not a street car in my opinion...

That looks bizarre dude. I still cant get used to the idea of getting rid of my manifold and injection. What did you do with all the associated injection looms etc? Did you just simply chop them/unplug or neaten them up? What is still required when running straight LPG?
