Re-introducing SLOGLi!

As some of you may know, I purchased the red EF off Sunny a little over a month ago.
It finally went into Vicroads yesterday to get registered, so it's all good to go now.
Thought I'd share some updated pics with you, the paint still looks great, needs a decent wax now, which I will get to in the next couple of weeks.

I know this will be asked, so I will answer - yes, the car is going to be lowered, I am waiting on some whiteline springs to arrive, they should be here early next week. The ride height is ridiculous at the moment, but superlows in this car were 10mm too low to get a RWC.

I took it for a fairly long drive last night, it is such a great car to drive - miles ahead of my old EA. Engine bay pics to come later, once I have finished detailing, along with corrected pics when the ride height gets fixed.

I don't see the problem with putting the superlows back in now that it's registered. It looked hot before with those springs in it.

Is it just me or is there a hint of orange in the paint? I'm talking colour, not orange peel texture :P

Yeah, the rims suit boxcars, get stockies & EF-AU caps for it!

Yeah, on superlows it looked great. The problem is actually a ride comfort thing. It bottomed out bad going over the speed humps in my area - and being on superlows has buggered the unijoints in the tailshaft - I can hear it knocking constantly now.
With the amount of Ks I am planning on doing in it, I would rather go with spring/shock combo which is more about comfort. It will be Whiteline Control springs / Sensatrac shocks.

I actually only threw those rims on because the rear tyres that were on it were no good, but now I kinda like it with those wheels. They'll be staying for the moment at least, the tyres are too good to not use. I was considering switching the tyres onto some EF fairmont rims I have, but now I'm not sure.

You could be right. These pics are pretty well lit, it does come up lighter under bright sunlight. I'm not bothered, I like the colour heaps anyway.
And yes, paint is virtually orange peel free ;)

Bit of slammage wont go astray! Looks very very plain with those wheels but still looks tops.

You guys suck. :P Hubcaps FTL.

Once I wear the tyres out on the S-Pack wheels, I'll start looking for some FTRs - but it's all good for now. Might swap them on to 'mont rims, might not. Definately not onto stockies though. I already have some stockies that need to be worn out. ;)
