Also, what do the plates mean? Noticed the swap since the first pics.

Does the Force lip spoiler fit on the fairlanes? If they do it'll make this look awesome!

Cheers fellas, nah they don't make the force lip for these. But I like fairlanes without lips and spoilers personally.

And one for a laugh :P, here are the plates(Yes I know this pic has been posed up a million times)

I believe the G8 had the black background behind the lens, instead of all silver. See the drag day pic then the one below.

i think bentls is on the money, mine are from a xt & from what i've seen are different the the G8's or G220's ?
kyle did say that the loom from ba to bf was different as joel said.

i'm still to see it with the new rim's, but the looks good :good:

Yeh pretty much XT, just thought G8 was more fitting being a Fairlane. But yeh BA2 onwards they changed the parker loom and globe holder, made the mistake of getting some second handies off FordForums and finding that my parker looms would not plug in, and my parker holders would not sit in the BA headlights. $400 later i got the right ones :(

Time for a bit of an update I think.

Basically in late January early Feb I got caught in the floods and waterlogged the motor resulting in a piston through the bottom of my sump, this was after I also did a full flush and got the gearbox serviced.

Didn't do too much to it for a few months until my diff bushes decided to **** up (Good ol' B Series :/), I thought this may be a good opportunity to upgrade the diff and IRS, so I scored an M86 style Cradle and LSD diff out of a BF F6 and got that all fitted up, then find out that the diff was wearing after 2 days of being fitted. I Had to get a custom tailshaft made up to suit the M86 Center and 6 Speed Auto, would have got one out of a wreck but finding a BF V8 being wrecked out was proven difficult :banghead: :blackeye: . After finding out the diff was wearing I took it in the chin and threw in an Eaton TrueTrac, best diff iv'e had by far :).

Next came the cat converter collapsing, so instead of replaceing it with a standard cat I bought some extractors and a high flowing cat converter. Booked it in for a retune a fortnight after to get some more power out of it and shut of the Engine Malfunction Light that likes to pop up in BF's whenever something has been changed in the exhaust system. Got the car retuned down at BluePower and while I was there got a ZF tune and a BluePower Intake, with the retune, airbox, Extractors and Hiflow with a standard catback pulled 157.4rwkw. :drinks2: .

Next mod came the brakes, all my pads and discs wore out and grabbed a set of Premium XR8 Brakes off a BA Super Pursuit, was looking at Brembo's but I wanted to be able to put the factory alloys on if the time came that I needed to, stops and pulls up quite nicely now :).

Well thats the latest, sorry if i've rambled on  , i'll throw some pics up tomorrow if I get time.
