My Stroked AU GHIA

this is my au fairmont ghia stroked 5.0l.
its stroked to 347ci with forgies and a cam and twin throttle body setup.
goes really well but needs a tune as it runs rich and pings a little bit.
i would say it would have roughly 200rwkw as is but i recon i could get more out of it.
it has a rebuilt btr auto with kevlar bands strenthened clutches and eveyrthing else they do.
3.9minispool ass end soon to be just lsd as the spool shits me.
and it has a 3000rpm stally so she moves off the line well wheelspins alot should i say.
i love the sound of it.
sounds like an old school v8 all nasty and shit not refined like the boss v8.
anyway heres some pics.

things i wanna do are msd coilpacks new 9mm leads and fit and paint the front extension thingy.
its now riding on stockies as the 19's were bald at the back.
cheers josh.

organise or tell me about a cruise man ill take u for a spin for sure.
i was out in it on saturday night and it just pulls away from my bros bf mk2 xr6t from 60-140km/h.
but off the line without stalling it up it rapes him coz it actually launches really good.
if u stall it up it just fries the tyres all first gear so yeah.
i sorta wanna quiten it down a bit as i like the sleeper look but the noise puts a smile on my face.
i sold the 19's as everyone has them and now im looking for some 19-20's.
cheers josh.

nah mine will just fry 225's and u cant get anything that is load rated to a falcon unless u get the wanli's whichg are the worst tyre.
i have them on my 19's on my g/f's car and they wheelspin more than 215 stockies and theyre 245's.
but yeah id like 20's but wanted good grippy tyres.

mate you can get Falken FK-452s and Nankang NS2s both in 245/30/R20 and they are both load rated and perfect for falcons on 20s etc

i believe there are also a few other major brands making tyres of this size

i have 245/30/R20 on mine all around
the ONLY issue ive had is it tagged the lip of the front guard which i need to get rolled
but that was only when turning and hitting a driveway etc
if i take it slow no worries at all

gotta hate it when tyre shops arnt "upto speed" on the latest availability

but id be happy with your wheels .. they look good on your car
ride is AWESOME on them too
no where near as bad as with the 225/30 i had originally up front

got em for $295ea thru bob jane

ditto

Apart from the rims it's all fairly understated, and the lip "completes" its sideskirts. An AU Ghia is definitely one AU I'd be proud to show off :D
