Hey all,

The car will soon be a lab rat for E85! so i'm slowly gathering both parts and information while it comes more mainstream here in Victoria.

here is where my thoughts are at!

- Bosch 023 Pump (600HP/30% = 420HP)
- 60lb injectors (@60psi/80% Duty Cycle = 585HP/30% = ~450HP)
- Renewed fuel lines
- Steel element fuel filter
- J3 Retune for 14psi

Will this be enough for 400hp (at flywheel) or will the fuel pump have to be upgraded as it is nearly maxed!
Anymore info or advice would be appreciated!

Regards,
Daniel

Is there any point when you can make that power on pump fuel?

Given how unavailable the fuel still is.

yeah i understand that, but it is also contains a large percentage of oxygen (unsure of number) when its burnt so a better chance of passing an emissions test, as well as its higher resistance to knock.

thats my reasoning anyways haha!

Regarding e85 you may have to.use a fuel sensor used in series 2 commodore v8s and 3.0 v6s because pump e85 contains UP TO 85% ethanol so you can tune it for whatever is in the tank at the time but next time you fill.up your tune is practically.thrown out the window

So if.theres anyway to incorporate the flex fuel sensor.on VE series 2s do it

Sensor basically tells.the.car what percentage ethanol it is andmakes adjustments to timing, fuel ect

hey all!

i picked up my T56 Today, and i have a few queries!
how are people getting a speedo output (holden box with VSS), and how are people utilizing the reverse lockout?

any help will be appreciated!
Regards,
Daniel

Jaycar do a speedo correction box which can convert the signal from Holden to Ford type.

Jaycar also do a frequency switch kit so you can energise the reverse lockout below a set speed so you can't select reverse when on the move.
